We stayed in one of the (what felt like brand new!) cabin rooms and it was spotless. Plenty of space and a nice verandah to watch the sunset. A definite bonus was also Netflix for when the weather wasn't great. We had a really friendly greeting on arrival and lots of local recommendations. We also ate in the pub/ restaurant...

We stopped in for breakfast on Sunday morning as the rest of town was closed. I'm glad we did. The restaurant has been recently rennovated and the atmosphere is comfortable. We seated ourselves over by the window and obtained a copy of the breakfast menu from another table. We ordered pancakes, french toast, and porridge with long blacks all round....

We travelled here with our two children (18 and 14), booking two rooms. The rooms are spacious and well kitted out. The free wifi was very fast and reliable, and they have Netflix in all the rooms. The owner was extremely helpful and friendly. The while experience was very welcoming. We also ate in the restaurant, which serves pub style...

We stayed for only one night, but wished we could have stayed many more...the lodging was very nice, with all the perfect attention to details. This is a family run business and it shows in the pride they take in the care of this establishment. The restaurant was great also... we happened on this and will definitely stay here again.....

We were there for a meal and ordered a lamb roast, meat cooked beautifully, unfortunately the carrots were old and stringy which let the rest of the meal down. A staff member (older lady) was so friendly as we left, making sure she said goodbye and asked how everything was. I would recommend Paroa Hotel for a pub meal.

Stayed for two nights in a King studio unit (on discount while they were finishing work outside the units). Units are really comfortable inside with trendy modern decor, upmarket kitchen and bathroom, good heating and comfy bed. Nice decking outside with view out towards beach, which is a 2 min walk through the dunes. The staff were super helpful, they...

This hotel has been a regular stop for me over the years, and it's all too easy to become familiar with the “usual”. Well, definitely there's nothing “usual” about it now! For this family run hotel has a new lease of life when the complete refurbishment of the rooms is completed. When I stayed, four of the ten had been...

My husband and I stayed for two nights. The rooms are newly renovated and are excellent - large and comfortable. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The food at the restaurant was also excellent! Great location to stay in to check out the local attractions - an easy drive to pancake rocks, local walks, and white water rafting and...

Stayed here several times now and this last trip was in one of the recently renovated rooms. It was really comfortable, the pillows are the best and the new water system and shower were fantastic. The meals are very good and the hospitality second to none and I will not be looking for any other accommodation. Best to book as...

My wife and I stayed there briefly at the beginning of a 16 day holiday at the beginning of September, we had heard that the hotel is frequented by locals because the food is exceptional. We can confirm that the food was in fact exceptional and the atmosphere very friendly and relaxing. Our host Alan, even though very busy helped...
