The best hotel/motel/apartment in Kaikoura. As good as many 5 star Auckland/Sydney hotels, but unfortunately the same price! If you want the best hotel in town with the best view, look no further. But it's not cheap! The reception gave me a choice of rooms. I believe the courtyard view was $NZ160 all the way up to the top of...

Wonderfully located hotel in Kaikoura. Faces the ocean and a very short walk into town. We had an ocean facing room which provided spectacular views. Room was very clean and tidy and well appointed with a kitchenette. Staff helpful in suggesting activities. Easy walking distance to the nearby seal colonies. Definitely recommend the ocean facing rooms.

We stayed here for two nights, we had a 2 bed apartment with lounge, 2 toilets, shower, kitchenette and 2 balconies. We were so pleased to be able to spread ourselves out! The rooms were clean with free fudge and free biscuits with coffee and tea. The laundry facilities were good. Next door was an excellent cafe for breakfast, dolphin/albatross...

If your travelling as a family or group the White Morph is ideal. I'm not sure if all rooms were like the one I was provided but it had two massive bedroom, two toilets and 1 full bathroom and kitchen.

This hotel is just out of town and facing the sea. Our room had a balcony where we could sit and look at the sea - we saw dolphins in the bay early in the morning - a magical experience. The room was large and clean and the bed very comfortable, there is a small and functional kitchen area which...

Lovely and clean. Room had everything we needed. Good location with garden view including patio area where we could sit and eat. Located near enough to town and eateries but far enough away to be quiet.

First floor rooms would be recommended especially those facing the ocean. The proprietor was so helpful with attractions to see, especially as we had our Whale Watching trip cancelled due to rough seas. The seal colony was an eye opener. Breakfast is served in the cafe next door, good and quick. A short drive to main "action" area, catering for...

This small hotel is located just outside of town center and right on the water. It is modern with very updated furnishings, including the very best beds we have had on this trip. Our room had a very modern kitchenette that was well equipped. The large bathroom had a big jetted tub. We were only in Kaikoura for 2 nights...

Well located on the seafront but some distance from the town centre (15/20 minute walk). Not really a Heritage hotel as it is quite modern. No restaurant facilities although there is a decent cafe next door. Our De Luxe room had a sea view and a small balcony looking across the main road to the seafront. Ideal for our purposes...

Dear RVP Thank you for your feedback on your recent stay. Heritage Boutique Collection is a brand name not a property description. The Heritage in Heritage Boutique Collection is speaking to the heritage of the company not the buildings. Glad you enjoyed your room and the offerings available at Café Encounter next door. The rooms were spacious and very clean and offer a nice view. There's ample parking space and ideal if you go for a dolphin encounter next door ! Highly recommended if you are around in this marvellous place.
