Upon arriving in Kaikoura, looking for a place to stay we were lucky enough to get 2 nights here. Lyn was very helpful and friendly. Great rooms, fantastic views. Enjoyed the 2 nights here and would stay here again.

Lyn very helpful and good to us. The room was just lovely and had a view of the beach. It is nice that the motel is a bit outside of the chaos of the town, but there was still food within walking distance. Laundry was also available. I am sorry to hear about the earthquake damage and I hope the...

The lovely, friendly Aussie proprietor created a very pleasing impression on our arrival. This motel is in an ideal location, just over the road from the beach and the views are stunning. Spacious, clean, well-appointed rooms and it's within walking distance of some good restaurants.

We stayed two nights in an executive room in this fantastic motel which is owned and run by a friendly Aussie lady called Lyn and her husband. The room had everything, it was large, had a kitchen area, and a great bathroom with a jacuzzi bath. The location was to die for, looking out over the beach with a snow...

Having been to the Anchor Motel twice in recent years, let's spare a thought for the people of Kaikoura. Whichever way you approach the town it is a beautiful place to go to. My wife and I have driven from Picton and the SH is an absolute gorgeous run. The Anchor is just the cream on the top, and if...

Well, the lovely wife and I decided to celebrate our wedding anniversary and her birthday with three nights at the Anchor Inn. On arrival, we were greeted by Lindy who spoke straight from the heart and later met Paul who also couldn't do enough to make our stay more enjoyable. The room we stayed in (the executive suite) was palatial...

Stayed a night here recently. welcome was nice but carparks are way to close together especially if you have any sort of disability. Not enough room to open car doors to get out. Inside was average and for the cost I would have expected a little better. No breakfast available to order. Views were great. Otherwise it was nothing to...

Thank you for your response , we try to reply to our customers that are not satisfied. Yes the car parks are a bit tight for large 4x4 vehicles, but we do other parking off street in front of side entrance which we use for caravans , campers and Boat trailers ( up to 5 vehicles parking spots ). Breakfast...

Passing through and needed to stay overnight. Dropped in on off chance and was shown two potential rooms and opted for one on side of property with view. The room was clean and well equipped and right on the esplanade. This made it easy to walk to the shops and restaurants. My room had a kitchen which would have been...

Great little motel facing the sea. Super convenient - 3 minute drive to town, and walking distance from some of the best restaurants. Lyn was lovely and helpful. We stayed in a 2 bedroom which meant sharing a downstairs bathroom, which wasn't too inconvenient.

This Motel is lovely, the Units are very roomy, much bigger than other motel units we have stayed in at other place. Bed was large and comfortable. The Units that face the sea have spectacular views of sea and mountain. Staff very friendly and helpful. We would stay there again if the need arises. Sharon & Jim - Christchurch
