The owners have done a wonderful job in restoring the Anchor Inn to such a good standard after the quake. The rooms are in top condition. The facilities are excellent and we had a very relaxing stay. Got some useful advice from Lyn on restaurants....More

Paul and Lyn were fantastic hosts. The location was perfect. We had room 2 which was fabulous, beautiful views, a great kitchenette, very spacious room with a comfortable bed and was spotless. We loved staying at this motel and hope to return to the Anchor...More

We had a great stay in Kaikouras Anchor Inn. The room we got (No. 11) was large, a very comfortable bed, a bath with a window, very clean....everything good. May be the best room we had on a 4 weeks trip.

Stayed one night before heading to whale watching..Great hosts Paul and Lynne who where very helpful. Rooms were superb and faced the seafront: kitchens toilet and bedding particularly high quality. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Anchor Inn to anyone.
