Stayed one night - with overseas guests. Very outdated dusty motel. I travel weekly for work, and was insulted with a note on the fridge, in bold black vivid, stating if you did not do the dishes, you would be charged a fee of 25.00. I went to take a cup, for coffee, and the…
Set on the water front through town. No view of the water from our room but we do see the mountain range which was snow capped and beautiful. The room is large and very comfortable. Microwave, jug , crockery and cutlery all here and a seperate couch to sit on. Very comfy.
Motel is located opposite the beach, but most rooms have no view on the ocean. Room was spacious, but very anonymous. Kitchen facilities ok. Parking just in front of the room, which I don’t like, as it blocks the view. Price of the booking on Booking.com was 145NZ$.

The location is great- on sea front and around 20 minutes stroll into town. Owner friendly and room spacious and reasonably well equipped. However the equipment was old (microwave display didn't work) and we are not keen on wet room style showers. Not the cheapest we've stayed…
"Studio straight ahead down the driveway offers a lovely sea view."
"the back rooms would be better because they are set back from the road and traffic"
"End room very hot in summer months would be great in winter months."
"The further from the road, the better"
"Choose another hotel."
