We stayed for one night at this Hotel after driving from Adelaide. This motel is extremely overpriced and in our opinion this is not a part of the Discovery chain . We noticed that dust is everywhere and smelly towels. Looks cleaning has not been done for months. At checkout the next morning I mentioned this to the Reception staff member...

We always stay at this park whenever we pass through Port Augusta - whether travelling either north, south, east or west. Plenty of room in the park and nice wide sites. All amenities open and available despite it not being peak traveller/nomad season - which is a nice change compared to other parks we have been through.

First impressions do count and the welcome we received was friendly, funny and helpful. The cabin was roomy and comfortable. The powered sites are large, we had a drive through. The park is beautifully maintained and nothing is too much trouble for the staff. We are staying there again in December.

Discovery Parks offered a site-en-suite cheaper than a normal powered site. Having an ensuite is very convient. Your privat toilet and shower next door! Spacious sites, good water and a nice city to walk to (15 mnts) over the old scenic bridge. We even saw a groupe of dolfins. Staff was ok, but when they took our table when we...

Stayed in a spa cabin for a 2 night stay. The cabin was well appointed with everything you could need. The spa was a good size with room to stretch out and relax. The cabin was clean and the bed and pillows comfy. The park itself had good facilities - camp kitchen, pool, etc. Great place to stay for a...

My wife, small dog (who was made quite welcome) and I stayed two nights in the park. We had a drive through site which had plenty of room and was close to the amenities block which was spotlessly clean. The staff were very assisting and polite. Considering the park is near the main roads to the West and North it...

Stayed one night in a cabin. Very comfortable bed. Well equipped kitchen with full size fridge and gas cooking. Well laid out grounds, clean and tidy and cabins not too close to each other. Would recommend to friends.

First point....3 adults looking for a bed for a night. The nephew is 6'3" tall, but nowhere in the web page is it made clear that the third bed is sized for an 8 year old. That's seriously Bad Billy. Secondly, the guests are expected to do their own washing up, drying and putting away of all kitchen items. What...

We were here just over 6mths ago and again as an overnighter yesterday. It still is a great park and I think that the amenities have been spruced up and upgraded a bit on the loos and basins. I highly reccomend this place if you are travelling through or staying in Port Augusta. It's close to the town and there's...
