The motel is older but very clean and had everything we needed. The management gave us some tips on where to eat, at the end of which we stopped for a nightcap at a local pub. There we not only met some of the locals but found ourselves walking back to the motel with a gentleman who stayed there regularly!...

The room is very large and although an older style motel was well presented and clean. The bed was comfortable. The TV was on the small side compared to those in other Motels, The location is in a quite part of the town

Located almost opposite the Council facilities, the Melaleuca is also at the end of the seafront road, and therefore a block back from the seafront itself. Hotels, eateries, and main shops are all within walking distance. Walkers will soon be at the seafront pathways and heading up the hill to the lookouts. Don't miss the second-hand book shop with many...

In mid November we booked for 2 nights and decided to stay for 3 because we enjoyed the Melaleuca Motel so much. The room was much larger than were used to and the bed was the best my back has experienced for a long time! The room was spotless. A separate kitchenette was an added bonus. Our light breakfast arrived...

We stayed at Melaleuca Motel as a driving stop-over when returning to Melbourne, from Adelaide. I was particularly impressed by the motel manager's friendliness and professionalism, from the well-organised breakfast baskets, easy wi-fi code access and even suggestions of where to have dinner. It is a well-operated motel, offering clean and comfortable accommodation at an affordable price.

We went back to the Melaleuca because we loved it the first time. We were not disappointed on our return. Lovely room (the same one we had before! just as I wanted) The room was big, clean and the motel is so close to town, so we could go to dinner in town and leave the car behind.

The motel is well located close to the town centre. We stayed for 3 nights. The room was spacious and clean, and the bed was comfortable. Good access for parking. Designated smoking areas within the grounds. Not 'flash' but very comfortable and would stay again and recommend to friends.

This is a great little motel, very central and always spotless. Seems to have had some recent refurbishment which makes it. for the price, excellent value. The rooms are spacious and in the family rooms adequate appliances to prepare a light meal. So close to all hotel and restaurants, also library and Arts Centre. Foreshore is an easy amble away....

Hi Sheila, thank you for your compliments to our motel. We are in an excellent location, as you say, so close to everything, but also so quiet. We have done quite a few refurbishments, beds, linen and bedding, curtains etc. and are still working on doing more over time. Hope to see you again.

We stayed for a few nights. It's quite a large room with a separate kitchenette which was so handy. Bathroom was adequate, water pressure not perfect but manageable.
