The Comfort Hotel Copenhagen Airport has garnered praise for its spotless spaces and strategic location near the airport, which guests find particularly convenient for layovers. However, the rooms are often described as cramped and dated, with noise issues that can disrupt sleep.
While the modern ambiance of the communal areas is a hit, some guests have called out the hotel for its sparse cleaning services and additional fees for expected complimentary services. Despite the welcoming staff, the value for money is a point of contention due to the perceived high cost for basic amenities.

I recently stayed at your property, and while I was impressed with the excellent infrastructure and premium feel, I was quite disappointed with certain aspects of the service:
Housekeeping: There was no daily housekeeping during my stay, which I believe is a basic expectation at a premium hotel. Amenities: Shower gel was unavailable on the last day, which was inconvenient. Towels: The same towels were reused throughout my stay, which was unsatisfactory. Lighting: The room lacked sufficient lighting due to the electrical light systems, making it less comfortable. Intercom Facility: There was no intercom phone in the room, which made communication with staff difficult. Given the premium rates charged, I expected these essential facilities to be provided seamlessly. My intention in highlighting these issues is to help ensure that future guests have a flawless experience that matches the standards expected of your property.
I hope you will take this feedback constructively and address these concerns for the benefit of all your guests.
Looking forward to hearing from you.

Dear bjosep924778, Thank you so much for your feedback. We truly appreciate it as it helps us improve. Comfort Hotel brand is not a full service hotel but instead we do things a bit differently and stick to the easy and most necessary services to offer. We do not offer cleaning every day as we care deeply for mother earth and sustainability. We offer cleaning on the 4th night. Even though it is possible to pay an extra fee to get your room cleaned before that. I will make sure to share your feedback with our Housekeeping Manager as shower gel should be available in every room. Please do not hesitate to contact me directly at paulina.eklund@strawberry.dk if there is anything else I can do for you.

Practical hotel that connects you to the airport with a corridor in 5 minutes you reach Terminal 3 and in 10 minutes Terminal 2. Very well slept, comfortable bed and very well soundproofed rooms. Great breakfast with plenty of choice between savory and sweet. Maybe I'd add the pies that aren't there. The room, unfortunately, is only arranged every 4 days if you want the daily service is charged. Fast connection to the center with the subway that you always reach with the corridor. The real breakfast starts at 5:30 am, but from 3 am there is a small buffet and coffee. Great place for those who, like but, have the plane very early in the morning.

The hotel is very close to the airport, within easy walking distance if you have a long layover at Kastrup.
We were getting into the hotel late and Priceline sent an email indicating we needed to contact the hotel or risk getting our registration cancelled. To be fair, this is an automated message from Priceline; it doesn't seem to be hotel policy. It was very difficult to get in touch with anyone. I tried a few phone numbers and got an automated message with no one ever picking up. My wife tried and had the same result. I eventually found an email address and did get a reply.
The automated check in process didn't work (for me or two other patrons who came in at the same time I did), so I essentially had to wait in line twice. That said, once I got to the front desk, it went quickly.
The rooms are intentionally very modern, so it took me a while to figure out the lights and shower. The bed had little quilted pods on them; my wife slept under hers like a comforter and I burrowed inside mine because I'm a hot sleeper and can't sleep with too many covers. I don't know if all of these things are Denmark things, but the hotels in the US, Canada, France, and Greece that I've been to had less of a learning curve. There isn't much space for your stuff - only tiny side shelves to charge your phone.
I did appreciate the hotel's commitment to environmentalism. There were requests to reuse towels, drink tap water instead of plastic bottled water, and donate non-needed clothing items. This was all very cool.
I'm not sure it was worth the price. I paid only slightly less for this room than I did for an amazing room in Mykonos. If I had more experience with Cophenhagen, I likely would have taken the metro into the city and gotten a more reasonably priced lodging.
So far, this sounds like a 3-star review, but it earns a star back for an amazing breakfast - perhaps the best hotel breakfast I've ever had. It was very efficiently run and with an amazing selection.

Hi Mister_samsa, What a great and detailed review, thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience here. I am sorry about the difficulties reaching the Barception and that the self service wasn't working. It really is such a quick and convenient way to check in when it works, so I'm sorry you didn't get to experience that. We also have another (even cooler) feature: For members you can actually check in via the app and use your phone as a room key - it does not get easier or faster than that! And your comment about the duvet made me smile, okay laugh a little actually. That is definately a Danish thing and I totally get that that's not for everyone ;) Really glad you noticed all our efforts to be kind to Mother Earth and finally I'm thrilled about your feedback regarding the breakfast. I'll make sure to share it with the team, it wil make their day! Thank you for your visit - I hope we get to welcome you back again in the future. All the best, Anitta Petersen, Communications & Marketing Manager

Efficient and friendly service, comfortable, clean and nice room. There is a nice view out of the windows overlooking the sea and a convenient walking distance to the airport and train station.
Facilities are good including lots of tables in the reception area for eating, working..., an airfield lookout, and a locker room for you to keep your bags in free of charge during a day trip.
It isn't the cheapest and breakfast is perhaps more expensive, but this is probably expected because of their location and ability to charge premium prices.
The bathroom was modern and I like the eco-friendly resources used.
Highly recommend it for short or transit visits to Copenhagen :)

The hotel location is great! But that’s where the greatness ends. While the breakfast was ok, there was no cream for coffee. The cups were tiny and can only handle a mouthful. The rooms are SO stuffy and tiny. The AC is locked so you can’t adjust it and there are no windows. DO NOT ask to check in earlier than 3pm because they won’t let you! Even if you pay for early check in it’s not guaranteed. The toilet was filthy. Paid for a kettle and coffee in room was not accommodated - we got the kettle but no coffee or creamer that was advertised. The staff are very rude. Overall, it sucked! We had booked two days for after our cruise and changed hotels as it was too hot in the room and stuffy. The bed was not comfortable at all. Anyway, if it is a VERY short trip and you are a singleton in for business, go for it due to its proximity to the terminal. Otherwise, go elsewhere.

Stayed two nights at the hotel and arrived late in the evening. Already on the 1st morning we notice that we have almost no cold water in the taps in the room! It was almost impossible to brush your teeth and take a bath without it having to be in very hot water. They promised it would be fixed. Which didn't happen. The other morning during a shower, when the spouse accidentally pulled out into the toilet, the water almost completely disappeared in the shower!!! There came a little water afterwards. We approached again at the reception and all they did was give us a voucher for a free breakfast for two!!! They could not give us a refund as we had paid the stay before arrival!!! We were also not offered another room. A very bad experience. All staff speaks only Swedish or English at the reception, which does not make communication easier.

Last-minute one-night stay due to a flight cancellation. The location is great for the airport, just a short walk to the terminal. Reception staff were very helpful. The room was small, dark and depressing with an uncomfortable bed (two singles which could be pushed together), and needs updating. The bathroom had been modernised, but with a shower that made the entire floor wet - not a great concept. Went down to the 'barception' for some food but there were dirty plates everywhere so I just got something to eat from the airport terminal. Had a very early flight the next day so missed breakfast, no one on reception at that time. The hotel would be OK for a short stay if you've got a flight but the facilities are really only budget standard, and certainly not worth the nearly DKK3000 I was charged!

Me and my Family stayed at the Comfort Hotel following a flight cancellation. We had everything that we needed and all very much enjoyed our stay. On the second night EasyJet only booked us into one room and there were 5 of us. But without hesitation the hotel staff upgraded us to a family room which gave us all more than enough space. Great food and drink selection and the hotel even had a play area for my toddler. The hotel had a very relaxed atmosphere with ideal check out and breakfast times. We also got to wash and dry all of our clothes which was incredibly handy due to having an unexpected extended trip. The hotel is right by the airport and metro station, so extremely useful. Would definitely stay again if we had the chance. Thank you!

We have previously stayed at the hotel and had some comments on the check-in and the hotel breakfast buffet. So has it gotten better since last time ? No - this is unfortunately not succeeded the hotel to change on extremely slow check-in. To overcome the long queue, a third person arrived just because one of the others immediately left the check-in. That is not satisfactory. From the buffet must again be mentioned the worst juice I have tasted to date. It's almost water. A good advice is to first put the gas under the tap after the initial water and immediately move the glass again before the final water.

Airport hotel that is very basic and not at all as inviting as Clarion next door. We stayed here due a company event on location, so all rooms booked by us. Got a room on the third floor (believe this is the first with rooms) which was with 2 king size beds, with one of them not without a turn down. Ok, not problem, only need one. There was no desk, which was strange for an airport hotel, since I believe/presume they receive a lot of travelling business people that need to sit and work, and the lobby area is far from a nice place to go down and sit and work. There were music in the night until 02 am and I went down at around 11 pm and asked to change room and it was fully booked, and he said that there should not sound anything in my room. LMAO. I asked him to come up and listen, because it was very loud in my room (328), but he could not. Breakfast and gym is very good, but thats pretty much it. Would never pay my self to stay at this hotel.

Hi Aksel, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback here. I understand that we were not your choice and that your preferences makes our sister hotel Clarion next door a better match for you. One size fits noone, so it's good there are options for your next travel. However, I would still like to explain about the rooms so you know there are different options if you should decide to visit us some other time. Our standard rooms come in two versions, one without a desk but with a sofa that can be made into a sofabed if needed. The other time has a desk, chair and a a bench with a leather cussion. But of course, when the hotel is full, some guests staying alone might still get the one with the sofa option. If you have a specific preference during a stay, please let us know and we will do our best to give you the type of room that you prefer. I am sorry about the noise issue and that there was no options that day to change rooms. When it comes to working in the lobby during the day, we actually have many guests that enjoy the ambience and the many different nooks and corners where you can sit and work. But we all have different preferences of course. Finally I am very glad that you enjoyed our gym and our breakfast. All the best, Anitta Petersen, Marketing

There is like an underground tunnel that can connect the two. But I found it a bit quicker to walk outside across the street to the hotel. But yeah just follow the signs for Clarion Hotel which is literally right beside it.
