This was the first hostel where they didn't have bunk beds in a dorm room. That was a really pleasant surprise. It was clean with interesting and cosy dining area. You could also eat or just relax on the outside terrasse. Travelling on a budget I really recommend this place! You get breakfast, excellent free wifi and a special treat...

Perfect location, groovy bathrooms, nice atmosphere Stayed there first time 20 years ago and was really impressed, and it still has the same character and feel a back then. The free breakfast and coffee is the cherry on the top.

The place is absolutely stunning. I love the garden, the balcony, the dining room with great conversations every day. Appreciate that there are no bunks, many musical instruments, easy to meet new people but also possible to enjoy being alone (balcony upstairs highly recommended for such moments). Hard to resist the bakery though and not easy to leave...

I arrived to baked goods, woke up to baked goods... what a terrible life I'm leading but it's so delicious. The house is exactly what you want for a BBH as it has great character, also run by a character and some lovely staff of ladies at front reception as well as the clean-up crew. Couple of different areas for...

The staff is helpful, the bed is cozy, the bathroom is awesome. The good thing is that they have free breakfast and sometimes also free bread for lunch or dinner. There is good city view in the balcony.

We stayed for 1 night. The building is old and I think there was no maintenance performed for 10 years. The room was smelly and dirty with bearly a cover over the matras. The kitchen was dirty and a mess (picture). When we left our room for diner the staff moved our stuff to get the 3th bed. They didn't...

It's awesome. Right ambience for me and I loved the service The Palace people offered to me. The one who like vintage rather than flash it will be the best place to stay. It's a big compound with different places to chill out:)

Nice hostel, the staff were good but not overly friendly. I stayed at this hostel 8 years ago and always had a special place in my heart for it as it was amazing back then so when I want to stay there again I was really excited. Maybe it was when I was there but it is not as friendly...

I don't know if I am the unlucky person or what, but it was an awful experience. When I checked in, the receptionist is very lost. 1) She couldn't find my booking, and after a long time I finally checked in, BUT! When she repeated details of my booking, it was another person's name. Then all the things need to...

A classic old property in need of a bit of TLC. Receptionists were excellent, friendly and helpful and do all they can to make the most of your stay. Rooms were shabby and although the sheets were clean, there was no mattress cover on the bed. The kitchen areas left a lot to be desired. Sinks full of dirty pots,...
