We only stayed overnight at the Bay Crest but received a warm welcome on arrival, the room was comfortable, very clean and well equipped. We were offered information on walks, restaurants and other Nelson activities. Theh location is excellent with miles of beach only 10 minutes walk away.

Room was great, 1 bedroom with 3 single beds and king bed in the lounge. Location was perfect for us. Phil the owner is great, he is friendly and helpful. We quite enjoyed hearing the planes going over top. They don't fly all night, I think the last one is about 10pm. We will definitely return and stay at this... More

This is a motor lodge with kitchenettes . Our stay was very comfortable. The owner is very welcoming and helpful with suggestions about where to go in the Nelson area. It's a little bit outside of town, but worth the extra drive. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it.

We stayed two nights at this wonderful motel and Phil made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The unit was large and comfortable and with our family we appreciated the space - it easily accommodated 2 parents and 3 teenagers with a separate bedroom with 3 single beds plus a queen bed in in the living space, as... The units are modern, spacious, clean with big comfortable bed. The welcome and service were fantastic, with lots of extra little touches, like turning your heater on before you come home for the evening. :) Great for plane spotters - they fly low overhead but not overnight, so all good.

The room was great-very comfortable with a small kitchenette. The host was very helpful as we were trying to figure out where to catch the motor coach to Abel Tasman park: he even called the company for us to get everything straightened out.

I have stayed here a number of times on business and its always a pleasure to pull into the car park knowing Phil is there to meet me. Nothing is a bother for him and he goes above and beyond every time. He advises on where to eat and has restaurant offers on hand. He is currently tending a baby... More

Very welcoming host, the units are clean and comfortable. Ample breakfast included in the room rate. The airport flight path is over head but may only be a problem if you like a sleep in , ok for business stay's, all that said the flight times do not keep you awake or wake you early.
