This was our third time at Lapland Guesthouse and I can't wait to go back again! The accommodation is quirky but cosy and comfortable, with each room or cabin decorated in its own creative theme. This time we stayed in the Viking cabin, a dramatic log cabin with a fireplace, several sleeping areas and cute sitting nooks - a terrific...

Come summer or winter Lapland Guesthouse offers beautiful accommodation over looking the majestic polar circle river Lainio. Here you will find the best hospitality and both excellent and plentiful food in addition to exciting activities from snow mobiling, husky sledding and northern lights in the winter and 24 hour sun and fishing for the mighty Baltic Salmon in the summer!...

Actually, I don't have a bucket list as such, but seeing the Northern Lights was something I'd always wanted to do and my big birthday year provided a great opportunity to do just that. So we arrived at Kangos, a family of 5 vegetarians from the south of England, who know occasional "snow days" when everything comes to a halt...

Lapland Guesthouse is right on the banks of the Lainio River. The various houses are old timber constructions that have been moved to the site and restored and designed by the owners Johan and Eva. There is a hot tub and sauna and a cozy dining hall with a fireplace where the food prepared is local, simple, and delicious--for dinner...

A brilliant place to stay. Johan and the whole team were excellent hosts and guides. Our one-week long stay was just incredible. We managed to do all the activities, like reindeers, ice fishing, snowshoe walking, snowmobile, visiting the ice hotel and of course Husky tour. Besides this, we were offered an excellent local food :) I would truly recommend to visit Johan's place
