Peeling paint, damp, mouldy smelling bed, raw chipboard surfaces, TV stuck to a bare wall...and this was sold to me as a luxury 'courtyard' hotel room (Room 155). In fact it was a corner room right next to a back passage way, so we could hear every new arrival clunking past with their roller bags. The bathroom was ancient with...

The hotel looks the same as my last visit in 2003. The rooms do need a fair amount of TLC, but the beds were super comfy and the pool clean and inviting. The bathroom needs refurbishment. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The food eaten in the restaurant and via takeaway was very tasty. The only option in the...

Clean tidy and very friendly/helpful We stayed at the "Croc" so we could take a flight over Kakadu, the ranges, and the spectacular waterfalls flowing over the breathtaking escarpment of Arnhem Land Truly remarkable due to a good wet season We were so privileged to see this awesome piece of our great country Will do it again but will be...

Visiting in wet season it may be understandable that our rooms were very musty. What I wasn't prepared for and the elephant in the room or should I say motel. Intoxicated locals sat and drank copious amounts of alcohol in the outside area near the pool and entrance way to the main section of the hotel from the rooms. Any...

After a very long drive from Darwin airport it was great to get to the hotel. Interesting building laid out in the shape of a crocodile. Thank goodness for air conditioning- it was definitely needed. Breakfast buffet quite good. Evening meal ok. Staff friendly and helpful.

We booked a night in Kakadu to maximise our time in the park. I did my research and tbh this looked like the best of a bad bunch but hey, it's shaped like a crocodile, what could go wrong? SNAP! Everything. That's what. The arrival was nice enough, as long as you like arriving in 1986. The hotel looked tired...

After a long journey to get there. The hotel seems old and worn and hate to say not very clean. Our room was on the ground floor, it smelt damp and was not the cleanest room we have stayed in it just seemed 'tired' The evening Buffett was ok as was the breakfast. I have to stay the staff were...

Wet, wet, wet - despite fan and aircon wet ceiling and condensating water-wet wall behind beds - whereas our window was completely dry, in contrary to the neighboured rooms which had kept the humidity outside. This wasn't because of normal humidity at this time of the year - cellar smell, bed and sheets wet!

When we booked our stay 6 months earlier, I thought I'd got lucky with the price. However, when we arrived, it became clear that they really couldn't charge any more as this hotel needs a lot of work. We waited an hour past check in to access our room - we were given 2 drink vouchers to compensate us. It...

Staff friendly. Hotel so run down. Garden over grown. Pool area Also very run down. This could be a beautiful hotel if the owners put some TLC into it. Room was in need of a upgrade. There are not many hotels around so not much choice.
