I loved the location! It is for those looking for peace and well-being. Great service, excellent breakfast, with a lot of variety, including fruits and natural juices. What needs to be reviewed is the menu for lunch and appetizers. The prices are affordable, but leave a lot to be desired. Internet didn't work during the time I was there. I haven't been to back door in a while but I have had great times here!!! This location is amazing. The beach is wonderful and the surfing is the best.
One of the Times I was staying here there was a surf competition the hotel was packed but the service was consistent And the ambience was fun. I recommend it to everyone I know that travels to the ilheus area.

I stayed at this hotel last month, like many of the guests I went without reading the feedback or like others who go for the landscape and pay to see it,
If my statement could influence someone I would say, don't go because this hotel is rigged
It starts with the distance from the center, they said 13 km but I think it's more for those who go without a car, they're almost stuck at the hotel because Uber doesn't want to go there or they charge super expensive
It has a good swimming pool with a beautiful landscape, right on the sand but without any instructions to enjoy the sea which in this place is very dangerous with lots of rocks, I also found out that at the beginning of the year a guest died there, I didn't even want to know the reason and the The sea there was 100% uninteresting, even because there are no lifeguards or warning flags, zero safety
Here come the extremely decadent and smelly apartments, ugly and very old furniture, the smell of unbearable mold dominates all or almost all apartments, the bathroom is super dirty, the water is yellow and doesn't even give you the courage to brush your teeth from what I've seen. only on one side of the hotel on the other side where they present as a luxury apartment the water is crystal clear
And the mattresses, honestly, my dog sleeps on a much better mattress, those thin, dirty smelly ones that the body fits into the hole in the middle, we get up without being able to move because of the pain in our body, I asked for a change and they put another one like it, a hairdryer hair every time you need it, you have to go to reception and ask, there is no intercom in the apartments,
And finally the kitchen, horrible, prices compatible with the region but ugly food with no taste, no seasoning, breakfast so it's the biggest disappointment, very little variety, everything ugly, poorly made, really bad, placed on a table with some cloths dirty items used for decoration and to complement a lady who apparently is the head cook, a horrible person who is super rude, rude and ignorant, I have seen guests being mistreated because she leaves breakfast and leaves with paid nights
In short, there is no way to leave a hotel almost ruining days planned for only good things and not commenting.
