Large, secluded campsites and a friendly staff. We liked the location and the area with lots to do nearby. Their prices are very reasonable, especially compared to what we paid in nearby city of Hope, BC.
Over a month before our due arrival time we reserved for a 7 day stay which ended in a long weekend. When we arrived at Anderson Creek we were told to drive around and find a spot then come back to office and register. We found a lovely spot but when we walked to the office to register we were told they would only be able to have it for 3 of the 7 days. at that point he suggested that we looked around for another spot. We needed a spot for two tents and one car. Well we found two more that were suitable, but to only be once again told they were reserved. The only spots left were small or all RV and in sun spots. So we left. Looked nice would have liked to stay but reserving was not a good idea.
Great place to camp, big sites some more private than others butt over all cozy. Excellent price with an extremely friendly and helpful staff. Train is close so it may bother some people but I found I tuned it out after a few hours of getting used to it.
Stopped by to dump our RV after we found the campsite on the sanidump website. and was greeted by two guys that were very intimidating and pushy. Charged us $20 to dump when the sign said $5. Would never camp there or recommend to anyone.
Booked at last minute as nothing else was available from Squamish to Hope for Canada day long weekend. Site was big enough for 6 adults and 3 kids. Free showers and clean washrooms. Our site was very close to the railroad and there is a train every hour or so. After first night we got used to it. Creek was too swift for swimming at this time around and not much to do around the area but if you want to just relax excellent choice at very affordable price.
