Visited resort mid November 2016. Front desk staff very friendly and efficient. Handicap parking right at front entrance as well as ramp which came in handy as wife in cast and on crutches. Room decent size however could use update. Water pipes very noisy and next room pipes were noisy throughout the night. Restaurant undergoing renovations/enlargement but area open was...

I got married at Manning Park Resort in August 2015 and it was a terrible experience from start to finish. Terrible logistical planning, poor management decisions, adding extra fees, not honoring our wedding deposit and canceling our wedding 85 days out. After threatening to go to the media and having another couple ready to talk about their experience, they let...

Manning Provicial park itself is a beautiful place to spend a few days or just a day trip. The lakes and hiking trails are fantastic and you're literally in the middle of nowhere. The smell of the pine trees in the air is amazing. Below is my feedback based on a weekend at the main lodge hotel: Pro's: fantatstic location;...

The Lodge is situated at the entrance of Manning Park. It is in an ideal location. Four kilometres to Lightning Lake where there are several moderate hikes. Eight kilometres from the Lodge is the Manning Campground which has great play equipment for kids and easy access to Lightning Lake. The Lodge is rustic, but clean but comfortable. You can reserve...

Wow ! A really nice room for a reasonable rate. The swimming pool was clean and enjoyable. Desk staff so nice. Many young people here as it is the last stop at the end of the Pacific Crest Trail - something we were not aware of. It was late when we dined but the staff were so friendly and welcoming....

Pleasant ladies on the front desk on our arrival. Our room was not available when we arrived around 1pm. We were told to check back in 1 hr which we did...our room wasn't ready but we were in by 4 pm as advertised. Our room was simple, but adequate. One negative was VERY dirty carpets. Our friends had the same...

Recently hiked the north end of the PCT in Washington State: Stehekin to Manning Park BC. This resort is at the northern terminus of the trail in Canada. A tired / wet / muddy / hungry hiker finds just what is needed: a convenience store / laundromat / restaurant / room with a shower. For a somewhat remote national park...

I was hesitant to stay here due to some of the reviews but wanted to experience the start of the Pacific Crest Trail, canoe and hike and this spot provided all of that and more. The staff was pleasant, our room was awesome (we had a suite and I brought ear plugs). The dinner and breakfast were beyond average and...

We have stayed here before and each time we are very pleased. The room was well appointed and very comfortable. The hot tub was a nice touch as well. The restaurant had a limited menu but the food was very good.

We stayed at the Last Resort in Manning Park for 2-nights (the minimum booking) in late October ($400/night). Most people who visit Manning Park are probably unaware of the existence of the Last Resort - it is nestled in the trees across the highway from the main lodge. The Last Resort is one of the original park building (it formerly...
