We only had two nights there as a side trip from a timeshare in Cancun and I am so glad we did. We had a beautiful clean 2 bedroom 2nd floor ocean view room that had a large balcony with hammock and lounge chairs. Each of the two rooms had it's own bathroom so would suit a family like us... More

We read about the Blue Sky Hotel in a local newspaper article - and the author described it perfectly - a very reasonable priced place to stay that was clean, with some very good food (try their pizza, of course - and also their fish tacos!). Despite what some people have written here about not being able to snorkel -... More

Lovely place, great food, terrible location. Rooms were great, clean, well appointed, great ocean views. The bad news you can NOT GO INTO THE WATER.... it is a coral beach front that in NO WAY can you just go out and swim. Also without a car it is a 25 min walk on dirt road to HWY 307, walk across... Hello Dear, Our reservation's manager receives all types of questions about the area, things to do, what to expect before booking our hotel. I am surprised you did not get any advise. I am sorry to hear you do not recommend this place to anyone! What you did not like about our little paradise it is actually what most of... More

We saw the billboard along the side of the road and decided to stop here for dinner. We did not stay at the hotel. The restaurant is located down a very long road. You even pass a nice cenote on your way! All the seating was outdoor, and had an outdoor pizza oven and bar. We ordered a Pizza Margarita... More

My family and I have visited Blue Sky Hotel many times and look forward to going again. You will not be disappointed if you want to relax....this is the perfect place to do so. The rooms are pristine and beautifully decorated. We love the private beach and patio with the pool nearby. One can walk the beach and look out... More

My wife and I stayed at Blue Sky for 8 days in May and absolutely loved it there. We stayed at Blue Sky about three years ago and enjoyed it but since that time the owners have taken over management and have made many improvements - the greatest being the restaurant. They put it a brick oven and now make... More

Awesome locale. The restaurant staff and the food were crazy good. Cons are that 1. the ad says WIFI, and there is not wifi. 2. in the middle of our stay the owner , his wife and child visited, you could have cut the tension with a knife. Their child was not well looked after and while my children were... More

I have stayed at Blue Sky Mexico several times over the past few years and most recently in Jan 10. The hotel has a bohemian chic vibe which perfectly suits the Tulum/Tankah region. I currently live in NYC and find that the Tankah area is perfect getaway from the fast pace of the city. Blue Sky is my favorite hotel/restaurant... More

My 12 year old daughter and I stumbled across this hotel as it was next door to where we originally going to stay. We had a junior suite in first floor (only 6 rooms in entire hotel). We went with 2 other families with small children. The staff was very attentive, the rooms were perfect, and the pizza's from the new brick wood fired pizza oven were to die for. 1 of our party owns his own pizza restaurant and was extremely impressed. It was a much needed break and we will definitely be back.
