Nah Uxibal is a beautiful house on an ideal beach. You could spend your entire vacation here enjoying relaxation, snorkeling, kayaking and swimming in the bay or the pools. The caretakers are Javier and Victoria. They take very good care to see that everything is clean. Javier even rakes the beach. Javier endeared himself to us by climbing a coconut...

We were facing a week's worth of at-home computer work waiting when the blizzard was announced for New England. We booked the last flight out of Boston and were lucky enough to get space at Nah Uxibal. Excellent internet, so we're getting a lot done. Our days start with kayaking and snorkeling and include walks to Chamico's in one direction...

We stayed in one of the casita's 13 years ago as a newly married couple. Fast forward to 2016 and we returned with our four boys, my in-laws, and my sister-in-law's family with their two boys. We rented the Villa and the apartments below. Because of occupancy rules we had to rent the entire space, but did not need it...

Hello Kristen, I'm so glad you enjoyed your return visit with your family, 13 years later you remembered us! I just want to explain about the mosquito bites in the loft area. What happens is that when/if the doors are left open (especially at dusk) the mosquitos come in and head up to the palaypa roof. There they are protected...

My husband and I highly recommend this place. It is on Soliman Bay so not touristy. They have places right on the beach but the other places are just steps away. Hammocks and beach chairs are there for you to use. Also kayaks! If you go all the way to where the waves break you will see lots more fish,...

Quiet, comfortable breeze, no ac or tv. Good restaurant close. Really recommend to those who need to decompress. Treat yourself to those around you. The quiet is intoxicating and you become dependent on it after an hour. We were all inclusive till here and loved it.

We stayed here a week in March , 2016. It was our 2nd time here which tells you we love this place. Very peaceful and quiet. Nice beach to walk along and a couple of palapa's for shade if needed when sunbathing. A short kayak ride out in the bay and you get to a great snorkeling area with sea...

We rented the main house at Nah Uxibal for 7 nights in April (this month). This place is just pure heaven - the pics do not do it justice. It takes a bit of practice to find the road, but that's just fine, keeps it nice and private. The road back to the property is long once you turn off...

We spent a week in Ik, one of the two casitas. Beautifully furnished, with a convenient kitchen, an elevated sleeping area, a full bathroom. Thatched roof (geckos included). The on-site caretakers make the beach and casitas very nice. The shower is open to the sky -- not quite an outdoor deal, but just as refreshing. The beach is perfect —...

We rented the Main House for a friend's wedding (which was happening at a hotel just a few steps further along the beach) and we loved the setting, the view, the space and the welcome we received by the caretakers. The house looks much, much, much nicer than the pictures on their website - don't get fooled. The main house...
