This guesthouse offers excellent accommodation with comfortable and clean rooms, good facilities and an excellent breakfast all within a stones thrown of the NEC. It was very easy to find and most welcoming. Highly recommended.

Stayed here last weekend for the classic car show. This was my second year staying here and I have to say the girls are amazing. The accomodation is first class but only outdone by the staff themselves and the best cooked breakfast you will find anywhere. We chose this B&B after reading the excellent reviews on trip advisor as we needed to stay in the area for family reasons. It is really convenient for the air port, NEC, Birmingham city centre with all its attractions and eateries and probably a whole lot more places we don't know about. Stayed here during my visit to the Classic Car Show at the NEC Birmingham. 14th-15th Nov The location of the Black Firs couldn't be better ,a short taxi ride from the NEC and your there. From the moment you enter until the moment you leave you are made to feel so welcome. Superb customer service, extremely clean well appointed rooms, fantastic breakfast - our experience was so good we can't wait to return.

My friend and I stayed here for two nights during a visit to the NEC. We received a lovely warm welcome from Julie who was also really helpful in suggesting places to eat. Perfectly located for the NEC to watch some bloke called Robbie Williams.! Could not have wished for a better place. I couldn't speak highly enough of this wonderful guest house. My husband and I were here for three nights. The room was extremely comfortable, the breakfast was absolutely delicious and the service was so friendly and attentive. It's the little things that make the difference here. Stayed there one night prior to event at NEC perfectly located for this. Julie could not have been more accommodating, made 3 phone calls to get us a table for dinner somewhere.
