One of my highest expectations with any hotel is location, cleanliness and away from the noise issues. La Tortuga for the most part did not disappoint. The room was cleaned properly, fairly basic but nice style in my eyes, yet I really felt the mattresses are quite thin and "springy" feeling if you know what I mean. Even for a...

We stayed here for the week while we checked out samana diving. The villas are clean and very nice accommodations. The restaurant/bar is very nice. They had great food and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast every morning was fabulous. Thanks to Michael! He is one of the best!

Didn't stay here, but ate at the restaurant a couple of nights and enjoyed the best dinners (steaks and seafood) we had in Las Terrenas. Charming garden and friendly service, and very reasonably priced for the quality of the food

We loved staying here. The breakfast was so yummy! Fresh juice every morning. The rooms were clean, comfy and air conditioning worked great. Would recommend to anyone. The pool was kept very nice too, perfect temperature. The groundskeeper was constantly working and he did a great job, the place was presented nicely.

In this small and very individually designed location everything is right: Days start with a good breakfast, can be continued with a stay at the pool, a short walk to the beach or a sightseeing trip on the peninsula Samaná, and should definitely finish with a wonderful dinner at the hotel's restaurant. The French inspired kichen offers a variety of...

I hope that readers take these reviews as seriously as I do...This place is beyond perfect for visiting Las Terrenas. I didn't want to spend a lot and found this hidden gem. The hotel is hidden on a side street obscured by magnificent foliage located a short walk to the beach. The rooms were 2 level bungalows that were very...

We stayed here in early January and overall, I would recommend to anyone on a budget. The rooms have a unique, kitschy ocean theme. The staff are very friendly, provided cleaning, clean towels and water bottles daily. There is free wifi, free parking, breakfast included and our room was fairly clean. The hotel also has an outdoor restaurant/bar, but we...

Beautiful, quiet place. The garden is gorgeous and you feel like you are entering a secluded little paradise. The room was clean and really nice. The hotel is in a great location, very close to the beach and all the restaurants and bars. We decided to have dinner at the hotel on our second and last night: everything was delicious,...

This hotel was fantastic!!! The owner and staff were extremely friendly, and bent over backwards to make our stay enjoyable. The villas, public places, and pool, were exceptionally clean. Breakfast was included in the price, and the food was delicious and prepared as requested. I wouldn't hesitate to come back here again
