Outside looked a bit plain but stepped inside to a warm & friendly welcome from Gina & Guy, with a welcoming drink, try the local beer from Poperinge. The rooms are comfortable and clean. I can sleep on a clothes line but my wife is a light sleeper and she had no problem. The breakfast is amazing! Excellent quality and...

When we booked a b&b for a mini break to tour the war cemeteries and museums I never expected such an amazing little place to sleep. We were greeted with warmth, friendliness and a local beer before being shown to the family room upstairs. Fabulously spacious room with a real boutique hotel feeling. Super spoilt by an amazing continental breakfast...

We booked the family room for the 4 of us and we were amazed at what we got - spacious and comfortable are the first two words that come to mind. Gracious and accommodating hosts helped make this a wonderful weekend away. Would most definitely recommend this to anyone!!

What a great find this place was. We decided to do a tour of the major sights in this part of Western Flanders as our kids had just studied WW1 themes at school. We wanted somewhere not too far from Calais but close to the epicentre of it all at Ypres. We knew tha Ypres could get busy with coachloads...

Our stay at the Pottebreker was wonderful. They greeted us right away with a beer and stories of the artifacts in the entry area. When I asked about the old rifle on the wall Guy took it down to give me a very close look and let me handle it. Make sure to ask Gina about the photo on the...

A real little gem of a B& B with very friendly and helpful hosts. The family room is very large and comfortably accommodates upto 6 . Would highly recommend . Excellent breakfast with plenty of variety -more than the usual continental breakfast fare.

We only stayed in this bed & breakfast for one night - overall we had a very pleasant stay here and the owners were very friendly, offering us something to drink when we arrived and giving extra croissants in the morning on the way to our next stop... Breakfast was great, hospitality was great, and the room was OK. Just...

Only a couple of rooms, but the owners go out of their way to extend their welcome and tell you where to go and what to see. Rooms was very cosy with ensuite. Toilet outside the room but no problem. Room was cosy, only negative thing was the room was cold as it was snowing and a bitterly cold weekend....

The warmest welcome we could have wished for and a room which was charming, clean and wonderfully well equipped. Many starred hotels would look poor compared to this lovely B&B in Vlamertinge. Breakfast was excellent with a great selection of food, beautifully presented. Our hosts were so friendly, helpful and hospitable - they made the weekend perfect. We can't wait...
