This is a beautiful spot and we had an awesome weekend here exploring the village, the market, the farm, kayaking along the shoreline, enjoying all the cute otters and seals, the peacefulness of the big open property and the trees, exploring the grounds including the lovely well-tended gardens, the singing creek, the boat graveyard out front ... this was a...

Fantastic guest house. Everything you need, great location, and great hosts! Gwenyth was very kind and accommodating. The place was very clean and well stocked with everything you need. Well worth it, and will come again when the need arises.

We stayed here with our two kids in the cabin, not the guest house. In retrospect we should have picked something larger as it really is meant for at most 3. The cabin is tiny. I would venture to guess less than 90 square feet. Inside is a two burner stove, a sink, a fridge, a bunk bed and a...

Blown away with this charming place. Stunning settings, attention to details, ahhhmazing shower, great book collection and absolutely serene. I just returned from this holiday and still reeling in. My friend and I stayed for 2 nights - it was perfect for us as we both wanted two beds. Sipping tea in the balcony every morning along with Gwenyth's scones,...

This is in regard to the small cabin, not the main house. Pros: Close to the ferry. Economical Clean Great shower Cons: Close to the ferry Great for bicycle tourists coming up from Victoria. Some reasonable restaurants and great bakeries within walking distance. Better be prepared for regular ferry blasts, but good for a quick overnight

What a great place...if you want quiet, serenity, and to be right near the ferry and some great cafes, this place is for You! I can't wait to return! It's right near the bus too if you don't want to rent a car! Just a 20 minute ride into town :)

The inn and property are quite charming and the location is near perfect for a relaxing holiday. We rented the guest house for a week and all five of us loved it. The scones and muffins Gwenyth provided daily had us all looking forward to breakfasts, as did the first class hot tub, a real nice feature with perfect views...

The South end of Salt Spring Island has so much to offer* and this guesthouse has everything you need! It's in a tranquil setting - except for when the Fulford ferry comes and goes, which was more entertaining than annoying. Gwyneth provides an excellent breakfast of healthy options, as well as newly baked goodies. The two bedrooms are small but...

The small yet marvellously well-equipped cabin was perfect for me and my need to get away and spend a few days reading, writing and relaxing. The cabin has everything you need and the living space is enhanced by the large attached sun-deck which became my meal and hanging-out space. The property is very attractive and pleasant to sit in. The...

The location was convenient to the Ferry and Rock Salt Restaurant (very nice meal). Nice grounds and you can enjoy the harbour from the deck. There was a lack of attention to detail - carpets are dirty and the shower in the London Suite had mildew - yuk! The sounds of the Ferry coming and going can be part of...

Hello Bruce, Thank you for taking the time to write a review of your stay at the guest house. It is a very busy time of the year as you well know and I do confess that some details have slipped under my radar as of late. Being situated on the waterfront, mildew and as well as other related water...
