We booked a superior room for one night then left our luggage for one night whilst on a tour and returned to a standard room for a further 5 nights. The hotel is a few minutes walk from the port which is great for reef excursions and a short walk from the main town. Hotel offered a complimentary continental breakfast...

Good location, friendly staff, nice restaurant and a lovely big room. We were able to leave our bags, free of charge, for 2 days. This was above what was expected and we would recommend the hotel. The food in the restaurant was lovely and fresh.

We had a special occasion to celebrate so the choice of Colonial Palms was just the right one. Ambiance great, staff friendly and efficient, food excellent and we did appreciate the white cloth tablecloths - gave the restaurant that superior edge. Also the lack of loud music was also appreciated as we are of the generation which prefers to converse...

Very friendly hotel staff and warm reception. Room had a nice sea view and small balcony which was nice and includes a basic breakfast with bread and fruit. Located just 10 min walk for the centre of town. Enjoyed staying here and would recommend.

After one night in a dump found this little place, although not quite little. Rooms are a decent size with balconies, upper floor have better views. The bed was just right for me, I had six nights of good sleep. Bathrooms have been modernised and are roomy. Cleaning standards are good too. The motel also has two small outdoor swimming...

Stayed here for 3 nights and we were pleasantly surprised. The owner is English so we had a nice talk during check-in. The room was large and while basic it was clean, comfy and exactly what we needed while we explored the area. It is about a 10 minute walk into the centre of town however it is perfectly located...

We're stayed a night and ate at the restaurant after reading the favourable reviews about the food . . Food is very good, i highly recommend the miso roasted eggplant . . So good. The room was good, aircon cold, shower clean and powerful. Owner is very helpful and informative. Thank you very much, we will return again.

We enjoyed our 2 nights here. The motel is older but refurbished, with clean comfortable rooms and beds, nice bath/shower, and a surprisingly good restaurant (we had dinner here one night and were glad we did. Also a lovely pool. There is a nice view from the main dining area and you can eat outside if you wish. We found...

Its not worth the miney. There are better accommodations in airlie beach. Typical motel or motor inn. Every room has a parking place. The rooms are spacious with balcony but not very clean. Breakfast is available but really really basic. Staff not available or not very friendly or helpful We would clearly choose another locaton next time

Thank you for your comments. We rely on these to identify problems and thus improve our services to guests. Your comments don't provide much for us to work on. There are better properties in Airlie Beach, but you pay more for them. Our upstairs balconies are due for a repaint which is been done this week as it is schoolies...

Friendly, quiet place. Rooms are big and modern, huge bed, decent bathroom. Pool just outside the deck. Staff are good and it's a really short walk to the town centre. We'll suited to couples. I'll go back again.
