Magnums Backpackers is a really huge hostel and definitely a party hostel. Wifi works only in one area of the hostel.
Dorm rooms have their own bathroom. Everything is clean.

Stayed for a night either side of Whitsundays trip. Was very large accommodation, rooms were spacious with aircon (on a timer) and the 8 bed dorms had their own bathrooms. Had 2 cold showers though, couldn't seem to get them warmer.

Nice rooms and very clean.
Close to everything, woolis right next to the hostel.
Own bathroom inside the cabins.
Really nice sitting area, wifi is a bit slow but better than nothing.
Can recommend this place, stayed a week here and enjoyed my stay.More

The staff at magnums were absolutely fantastic in arranging our whitsunday sailing tour. We booked everything via email from the UK, and were beyond helpful from start to finish - even kept us up to date following the cyclone.

Hello, Thank you for your inquiry. Yes the rooms are big enough for your luggage. There is space you put your belongings. While you are off sailing the Whitsundays we offer luggage storage - $2 for 1 day / $5 for any overnight sailing tour. As for your valuables we offer a free service at reception. You can then access your valuables during reception hours 7am-9pm. Your ID must be shown when you come to collect.
