We have just checked out of Airlie beach YHA where we spent 3 nights. Probably the worst hostel we have ever stayed in throughout our travelling experience! It's dingy, dark, stains over the bed sheets and bathroom is gross. The blonde lady in reception was very nice and I observed her being very patient with another person staying here who...

I stayed in yha airlie beach for 2 nights with my boyfriend. The location was really good - its only a 10 min walk to the bus station - its in the main street where all the bars and restaurants are and the room (8 beds) was big enough!! There was also a balcony, a swimming pool and a kitchen...

This hostel was basic but nice enough. Room was clean and spacious (8 bed) and had a balcony and air con. Bathroom was not the cleanest but I think that was just from 8 people using it throughout the day. Kitchen was large and easy to use. Pool was clean and the location was great for the main street and...

The hostel is in a great central location but that really is about the only positive. We stayed in a private room and the room was a bunk bed not a double as advertised. The bathroom was completely filthy and I don't think it was cleaned once during our three night stay. The car park is a good facility but...

All our visits at the reception were pleasant, storing our luggage during a 3-day Whitsunday island trip was smooth and everything else was ok too. The budget double room we had offered a good night sleep. Room itself was spacious but bare. The in-yard swimming pool in a shady corner seemed a bit useless. Wifi worked well. Note! They have...

We stayed here because it was cheap and about the only available accommodation for the night. The place was OK for the money we paid, located in central Airile Beach. The staff were a bit rude/abrupt. The accommodation was usual shared kitchen are etc and the room was rather depressing. All in all, an OK place for the money, but...

This was my first and definitely my last YHA stay in Australia. The hostel was pretty dirty - the room I paid for was in excess of $100 a night and turned out to be a little box with a bed in it. The walls were covered in gross stains and I did not want to walk on the floor...

Yha was quite nice and located in the city centre. The staff was friendly and helpful. The double room was clean but had a bit of the Charme of sleeping in the basement. A bit too expensive, maybe due to the location and the town.
