The room is exactly what is expected in this pride bracket. Comfortable bed, enough space , good facilities and free, fast wifi. The room even had two heaters for those who feel the cold. We were more than happy with the room. The owner went out of his way to help my husband make contact with another motel to retrieve...

We stayed in a family room which also had a kitchenette The service was very nice. The receptionist, who was also the waiter was very friendly and help us put a lot. The hotel provided a washing machine($4) and dryer($2) which helped in the middle of our trip. The bed was comfortable and the shower was pretty good. A drawback...

Recently spent three nights at Silver Hills which were thoroughly enjoyable. Check in/out all to easy - as it should be. Room very nice with comfortable bed and lovely hot shower, slept well. Highlight was the food and service from lamb ribs to pork ribs and Tassie salmon. All presented nicely and cooked to perfection. James does great eggs for...

Stayed here with a couple on new years 2016. Room was clean, spacious and beds comfortable. Staff very friendly. Walking distance to the town centre. No fly screens on the small upper windows unable to close and did have a problem with mosquitoes getting in. Hotel a little run down. Queenstown very quiet. Nothing open after 8pm. Fridge very small....

Hi Elaine, thanks for your review and I truly am disappointed that the room cleanliness didn't meet your expectations. From your feedback I don't know when you stayed, what room you stayed in so it is very difficult for me to drill down on the specifics of what has occurred ... but I have workshopped your comments with my housekeeping...

We arrived late at almost 9pm into Queenstown, due to the long daylight we lost track of time, as well as the long winding mountain road. The town is totally dead with no food whatsoever to be found. The motel reception was closed and our key were put into envelope taped to the reception door. When we use the tel...

Thank you for your review. Indeed you were our last arrival on the Boxing Day public holiday, and yes I did give up waiting for you as the evening progressed. I made your room key available for you. The phone outside the front door is forwarded to my mobile phone...not a recorded answering service and I am available 24 hrs...

This is a fairly ordinary motel room a bit tired but clean. It is not the prettiest town in the world but the service was good and the restaurant a real surprise. A really good meal that could have been served in agood hotel. Really enjoyed it.

Saturday Evening dinner with friends was great, the restaurant has a great menu and the food is well prepared and in huge portions. Highly recommended the restaurant. Sadly cannot recommend the motel. We had a room accessible directly from the parking lot, and whilst the heater and electric blanket were on for our arrival, the room was cold and damp....

Clean, tidy room - shower was a bit lousy (no water pressure) 2 heaters - bonus, nice electric blanket. Restaurant is a definate must. Queenstown is worth a visit if touring Tassie. Quality tea and coffee in the room.
