The room is comfortable , no frills except for the wonderful mountain vista. Very snug in the storms which swept across from the West. We ate in the Silver Hills restaurant both nights, good food and generous serves. The restaurant also has a pretty spectacular outlook.

Our stay at Silver Hills was unexpected. We had booked accomodation at Derwent Bridge but a massive power blackout in the region meaning no heating, lighting or water pumps, caused us to travel on late in the day in the face of an oncoming storm. When I called Silver Hills and explained our dilemma, Angela was most welcoming and offered...

Had a lovely stay here while traveling the Tasmanian west! Hotel rooms are older style, but was very clean, comfortable and perfectly adequate for my needs. Had dinner at the restaurant - upon booking in, the receptionist advised me that it would be a busy night due to a surprise 60th birthday party that was being held there that night,...

Nice room kinda old but not, free washing and $2 to dry it. Staff know there menu , food yum big dollars but worth every cent. Great staff, amazing restaurant, nice wine, a must for a meal and warm fire. Not happy that you have to pour your own water up at bar then take it back to ur table....

Stayed here for a week on business. Having stayed at a couple of other places in Queenstown over the past few years, this one is the best. The rooms are basic but perfectly adequate with a comfortable bed and plenty of room. Free wifi was definitely a bonus for us as we were able to continue working at the end...

We were staying in Queenstown for a few nights in May and chose to have dinner on one of the evenings at the Silver Hills restaurant. So glad we did. The open fire was welcoming as was the ambiance and staff. Our meal was excellent and the service friendly and efficient. Will certainly go back on our next visit to...

On a very cold day checked in ok. Room was cold and would of been nice if heater had been on and room prepared. Older room but clean and bed good. Restaurant had excellent menu and meal was very nice. Great service and a friendly waitress and manager. Happy to stay again.

Stayed 1 night. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Ate in the restaurant. Booked for 6.30pm, finally received calamari at 9.00pm. 2 people ordered the same meal and the meals were completely different. Meals very ordinary.

Hi Silvi, it was disappointing to receive your feedback in the midst of all the very positive reviews we received towards the end of this extremely busy night. It was a record night for us for the number of a la carte diners we had that night. We have never done as many in one night until last Thursday. So...

The Silver Hills Motel was very basic to say the least. The staff were very helpful but that was the best of it. Ate at the restaurant which was way over priced for the quality of the food. I am sure there would be much better accomodtion in Queenstown than the Silver Hills Motel.
