This lodge was a pleasant surprise in the micro town, esp when Straun was a major disappointment. The location was perfect with IGA is right in the front. I was impressed how clean the bathroom was and you would find everything you need in the room. My room was on the ground but it wasn't even noisy at all. I...

There was a private function held in the restaurant on our first night in the motel. The dinner guests were extremely noisy and the noise didn't cease until midnight . When we spoke to the management the next day we were told nothing could be done. In their defence they did reduce our account by $20. Neither night was there...

Basic rooms with everything required. The rooms were old but were warm, clean and spacious. The staff were very friendly and extremely accommodating and with a sense of humour. The meals were delicious.

Good location right in the the town, close to amenities. We didn't have far to travel for our bush walks and raft/rail on the King River. The staff are very friendly and the evening meals at the restaurant were wonderful. Rooms were clean. The rates were very reasonable.

Rooms where spacious and clean with a little kitchenette. First time we had the luxury of a fan it was very appreciated as it was very humid. Breakfast was home cooked and hearty Lovely motel Very pretty town set amongst the mountains and the mists

Booked a room to overnight in Queenstown. Had a newly refurbished room which had everything we needed. There was little extras like biscuits and a toaster. Bed was comfortable. Staff were amazing. Had dinner in the restaurant where my partner had pork belly which he said was the best he's had in ages. Would always stay here when in Queenstown,...

Booked on line several weeks before for around the 4120.00 mark, but on arrival being a return customer I got the room discounted, which was pleasantly received. had a meal in the restaurant, Fabulous, cooked to perfection and a great nights sleep in a newly refurbished and tastefully done, room. Friendly hosts, what more could you want. Recommended stay!

Very much a sixties Motel [a bit like the rest of the town] that as far as the rooms go has had little done to them since. It is basic accommodation but certainly not backpackers and is fairly priced. It has a restaurant which we did not try but the menu appeared on the expensive side.

This hotel is reasonably priced for what you get. The room we stayed at was a family room and was a good size. Bathroom was a god size with a bath included. Only problems were that the wifi reception wasn't the best and the austar channels were not working.

Stay here after spending two Days in the extremely overpriced town of Strahan. This place is the opposite. It is a unique town hard to explain. We should have stayed here and traveled to Strahan. The hotel is comfortable and priced well. The food in their restaurant is excellent. The staff are friendly and helpful.
