We were running late with work still to complete at 9.30pm so literally flew in to just collect the key and say a quick hi to the hostess Dianne who was completely accommodating & understanding.. The poor lady had had her boiler go down that day but she had put 2 heaters in our bedroom so all was warm when...

A simple B&B five minutes drive from Croft race track. Room was clean and tidy with a nice bathroom. Friendly owner. Modern it is not but very convenient for the race track. Breakfast was nice and they will do take away bags too.

Diane, the hostess, was attentive but never intrusive, the rooms were clean and the shower blasted you off the floor! Breakfast was ENORMOUS - on the second day we had to ask for smaller portions! Would we stay again? Yes, definately. On a...

Stayed a night on the way to memorial service in the Lakes. Dianne could not have been more helpful. We like good plain cooking and she provided chicken fillet in a delicious lemon sauce with potatoes and countless salads. Followed by banana bread and ice-cream. Then to bed in our upgraded room (no additional cost - just "it was empty...

“We had the larger deluxe room that goes right through the house. The double glazing keeps out most of the road noise and the shower room is really great.”
