Stayed here for 2 nights while attending a concert event at Hope Estate Winery. (See separate review if interested) Place is average at best. Bed was rock hard and unsuitable if you are tall. I am 6 feet tall and my feet were hanging over the end of the bed. Quite noisy at night due to being close to a...

We stayed for the price and got much more than we had hoped. Friendly staff, clean rooms and breakfast was great also. Couldn't hear the road noise but we were further towards the back. The only thing I can fault is the beds where quite hard and the tiny tubs of milk are disappointing

We stayed for 1 night on a Saturday. The place is simple, clean, comfortable and quiet at night. Parking is just outside the room door. In my room there was a bed, a small table, a chair and a TV. There was also a cordless kettle, complimentary tea and coffee bags and milk in the fridge. The owners were friendly...

We stayed here for a night on our way through to the Port Stephens area. It is an older style motel but very clean - I'm very fussy when it comes to clean! - and comfortable. Good sized bathroom, queen bed and lounge and coffee table TV and fridge. Shower was like a massage on your shoulders and neck. Breakfast...

Booked two night stay through Qantas with our points for Thursday & Friday nights. It was a very convenient location for what we wanted to do. The free internet was good in the room and the bed was very comfortable and a good number of power points to use. Parking was right outside the door. We stayed in room 2...

We thought we would give the Hunter Valley Motel a try as our usual motel was fully booked. Normally we don’t mind ‘cheap and cheerful’ but sometimes you need to pay a little more for a comfortable stay. We were allocated room 20 and things did not bode well when we couldn’t open the door without giving it a huge...

Unfortunately our night of sleep was ruined by the guests next door to us who stayed up til 3am drinking. It was basically a party next door with language that would make a truck driver blush. I rang reception to complain however no answer....apparently it closes at 10pm. The management must have heard the noise but nothing was done. Wifi...

We booked accommodation for a hens weekend. We had booked two rooms because there was 7 of us, it would have been nice to rooms side by side, and it was alittle cramped however it was clean and comfortable

Stayed for one night on a business trip, local excellent, comfort excellent, nice and clean, owners very nice, breakfast good, was great to have a BBQ so I could cook my own evening meal. If I am ever back in the Hunter I would stay at the Hunter Valley Motel again.

If you are out all day exploring the hunter valley or on organised wine tours and just need a nice place to sleep at night without forking out $$$$, this is the place to stay. The motel room was clean, simple and the staff were friendly. No complaints. Thanks for a great stay.
