We booked the hotel months ahead as we planned our first ever visit to Australia to see family and had the first week here for a holiday by the beach. We asked for seventh (top) floor and got it and staff were wonderfully helpful with everything we needed. Breakfasts were great and the evening meal was ok, the selection on the menu could be better. The room was very clean and access was good. Looking forward to being treated so well at Coogee again!

Our group of friends stayed at Crowne Plaza Coogee Beach for New Year's Eve and we were really impressed with their excellent customer service. They made it easy and hassle-free to get inter-connected rooms with our teens so it was easy for us to keep an eye on them should we need to. We were also given higher level rooms with great views of the beach and the ocean. The rooms were clean and had all the safety precautions in place to ensure that we felt safe despite the pandemic concerns. We particularly appreciated the sweet treats and Champagne that served as beautiful welcome into our rooms. The hotel location is amazing, only a few steps away from the beach, the shops and restaurants. Due to Covid-19 restrictions we were a little disappointed that we couldn't go ahead with our plans to watch the fireworks in the city centre but staying at Crowne Plaza Coogee ended up being a cheaper and great alternative to celebrate the New Year by the beach with friends. The hotel has had a renovation and is in a great location right across from the beach and close to the main stripe shops that has pubs, bars, restaurants, cafes, etc. The Coogee Wine Room was a great place with an extensive wine list and tapas style food. The hotel was clean, the staff very friendly yet professional and I would certainly return and recommend to family and friends.

Location was superb. Close to food shops but if you don’t want to venture out they have a restaurant on site and room service. We had breakfast downstairs and it was good. Real coffee available! Room service food was not that good would not order again next time. Room clean with good amenities. Loved the mood lighting in the bathroom. Lovely staff. Pool was okay. Spa temperature was the same as the pool and there were no bubbles. Probably need more shade over the pool chairs as the covered seats were always taken by others towels.. so I had to sit in the sun to watch my family swim. Overall very nice area and hotel and would return for a good price/deal otherwise a little pricey for our family.

It's true there is no place like Sydney and even moreso there is no place in Sydney like Coogee Bay. And if you really want to take you stay to the next level, there is only one place to stay and that's the Crowne Plaza Sydney-Coogee Beach. Nestled just across road from the park that adjoins the famous Coogee Bay and Willie Bath's and set just short steps to the restaraunt strip, the Crowne Plaza is paradise. Affordable yet upmarket. Chic, yet family friendly. The rooms are beautifully furnished and fresh and vibrant to match the amenity of the area. Put Crowne Plaza on top of your list. You won't be disappionted.

This hotel is in an excellent location but one wonders why is is no rooftop bar . The pool was ok but spa freezing and lack of pool towels. The hotel could do with a huge renovation . Felt it dirty in some parts . Especially the massive room where they do kid activities. However the kid activities and room for kids movies is excellent for parents with kids . The bar and restaurant looked renovated which is nice . Food at the restaurant was underwhelming though. The rooms are sufficient, excellent amenities , bed and pillows comfortable. Bathrooms needs a renovation however I loved the pump dispensers . Breakfast buffet was better than in some 5 star hotels and the inclusion of proper coffee and chef cooked egg station was excellent. Parking is very easy . Service is fine . I would stay here again and it is a much better hotel than what you get in Sydney cbd. If they can fix up a few things this hotel would be amazing .…

Spent a week here over Christmas loved everything about it. Our son was visiting from living overseas so we booked four rooms. We had Christmas lunch at the hotel which was great. The rooms all faced the ocean and were very comfortable. Breakfast each day was very good. The Staff were excellent throughout the hotel even when it was quite obvious they are were veryshort staffed. A special thank you to Ben on the front desk so helpful and friendly. We all live locally and we all loved our staycation.

Excellent location , clean rooms although bit small. The beds are very comfy, and linen was a top-notch . Breakfast was amazing with a variety of choices. The staff at the bar and in the restaurant were helpful and courteous. I would like to come again .

Beautiful location and super convenient for beach and town. Hotel itself is disappointing. We arrived with a lot of luggage. No staff offered to help us. Not enough staff. Room was ordinary, and bathroom tiny with pathetic water pressure. During our stay it was the final stages of the soccer World Cup. Hotel decided to send in a contractor to replace all the TVs on our floor. Result..our TV stopped working ..! Till we checked out. They offered to move us but too little too late, we were checking out next day. The hotel is understaffed and poorly managed. If you stay there eat out. For all meals.

My husband and I stayed at the Crowne Plaza Coogee Beach for our honeymoon and we really appreciated how welcomed we felt by the staff in celebrating our honeymoon.
