Nice hostel, we had a double room and it was fine. Ir has a private bathroom and small TV screen. Good location just 8 minutes walk from katoomba station. And 5 min walk from the public bus station which can take you to the near by tracks.

I've been in a many hostels before and by far this is the cleanest hostel I've ever been in. The kitchen is cleaner than mine at home! The common area is very large with a pool table, tv and foosball table. The staff are super nice and they even helped me choose a bush walk trail!

I took a single private room for a few days. My room was clean, had the benefit of a space heater which was nice, a TV (but I don't know if it worked as I don't watch TV), and (bonus) I had a towel too - I travel quite light, so a towel is a bit of a luxury. The...

The staff was very friendly and helpful, it's very close to the train station and just a few minutes walk from all shops and restaurants. The hostel was very clean and confortable. It has a kitchen were you can cook your own food, which was also very clean and tidy. In general it was very quiet and peaceful.

This was our first hostel stay on a 6 month trip, used because our booked camper van was not available until 2 days later than booked. We have no comparison points for reference. The place was spacious, clean and welcoming. The kitchen facilities looked very comprehensive and extensive though we didn't use as we were eating out. There are also...

Hi PipPaul W, We are thrilled that your first hostel experience was with us! And thank you for such comprehensive feedback. In answer to your musing, all of our computer and internet facilities are free for all guests. Leura is a beautiful village and very pretty, especially at this time of year. But we feel Katoomba has its own charms...

I was here just for one night. The location is good, near the train station, it's simple to find. The staff is kind, but the hostel is very old and basic. The kitchen equipment is very old and poorly maintained. The room is carpeted with an horrible smell of old. Toilettes are dirty, nobody cleaned them after hours. The beds...
