This hostel is clean, spacious and warm. The kitchen is spotless and the balcony is a lovely place to sit and relax. It is located very close to the sights and shops. I would recommend this hostel to anyone who is looking for a quiet few days away.

One of the best hostels we have stayed in. We stayed in a double room and a friend stayed in the dorms and both rooms were exceptionally clean and comfortable. The huge common area was wonderful and the fire place (even though it was gas) was very atmospheric. Everything was wonderful, even the bloke on the front desk could not...

After the rather deceiving experience at Byron Bay's YHA, we were hesitating about this YHA. Well, this is a very, very good place to stay at Katoomba. Only thing we didn't like so much was the temperature in the living/dinning room. It was freezing there!

This is a very nice hostel for this area. It really has that 'mountain feel'. Very welcoming people at the reception and a big lounge area. Next to it is a spacious clean kitchen. The rooms are also good but only our bathroom was a bit small and old-fashioned. Also ideal for families!

We stayed at this hotel as it was part of a tour package we had booked through YHA. It was clean and warm (it had been raining heavily for 2 days straight when we stayed) and the bathroom facilities were also clean. We didn't really chill out in the common areas as we were on a tour and abseiling and...

Nice place to stay Walking distance from town centre Comfy beds Nice bathroom Only complaint is definitely not sound proof. You can sneeze without everyone knowing Large windows and great curtains that block out all the light for afternoon naps

Hubby wanted to have a Christmas in July so of course we headed for the Blue Mountains. With 2 teenage children we had to strike a balance between comfortable & cool. We opted for the YHA in Katoomba as we are life members and the Hostel had a special for Yulefest - a package for 4 with brekkie and a...

Big hostel, nice and big common area and wonderful big kitchen to cook! They have everything needed in the kitchen. Staff is helpful, dorms are clean and cosy when you choose for the 4 or 6 dorm. WiFi is not great but you can get for 5$ premium that works faster.

Once again back to the YHA. Lovely and warm. such a relaxed ambience. This time I become unwell. There was much care and concern by staff. The bug passed but it was good to know there was help on hand if required. We went for a walk to the reopened Grand Canyon. Such a quality track. We strated from Neates...
