I stayed with my family for two nights. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The lovely gentleman at reception carried my bag and showed me to my room. The hotel is beautiful but the rooms are quite dated and could do with a makeover. Floorboards creak quite loud which is no good if you're trying to get back in...

This hotel fit us perfectly. It is absolutely beautiful and was close to everything we wanted to see in the Blue Mountains. Our room was a little small but is is a quaint hotel with all the charm that you could expect. My wife and I enjoyed sitting in the area immediately in front of the hotel with a drink...

A luxury escape deal was purchased for a 2 night stay. The hotel is maintained in its grandeur of yesteryear with comfortable rooms and large breakfast room with authentic decor, fireplaces and excellent service from a young and pleasant staff member named Josephine. The age of the building is reflected in the creaky floors however the ambience is certainly present...

Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights but would gladly stay longer if I had the time. Great king size bed with large bath. Quiet, friendly and good location. We added the breakfast to our stay. Plenty of good food in a lovely room with a fireplace. Front desk folks were great, too. Provided us with information and directions.

We stayed at this hotel while visiting the Blue Mountains. Excellent hotel in great location. Our deluxe was really lovely, immaculately clean and large with a great en-suite bathroom. Breakfast was extensive with great service. Definitely recommended.

This hotel is worth a stay with its positives outweighing the negatives. It is a lovely old hotel and the main areas have a good and friendly feeling. The friendly staff are definitely its greatest asset. All were very welcoming and happy people, and the chef brought our breakfast to the table which was a nice touch. The continental breakfast...

We enjoyed our stay at the Palais Royale in Katoomba. Very close to a lovely Cantonese restaurant which was great. Breakfast at motel was delicious. All staff were very helpful. Nothing was to much trouble.

Staff were very nice but in general the hotel was over priced for what it was. Bed was uncomfortable, shower was useless. No water pressure could hardly get wet in it. The windows rattled all night, air conditioning needed servicing sounded like a jet plane. No clock in the room, no fresh milk for tea and had to the boil...

First impressions are of a stately hotel, walking in to a welcoming entrance with an inviting lounge off to the left. The reception were friendly, helpful and walked us to our ground floor room. We were there as a family, just us and our 13yo son . The room was a very generous size, and the stained windows let in...
