I had a very comfortable stay. My boss often stays here but this was my first time. It is only a short walk to Echo Point which was spectacular at dusk. There are plenty of great cafes nearby. See you next time.
If you want something basic and close to the sights this is where you want to be. Its within walking distance to echo point and the town isn’t far away. There were a few cons - the walls were extremely thin , you could hear basic conversation of the people next door. The lights outside are constantly on throughout the night, even with the block out curtains it still shines through. Our kettle lid was broken and I’m pretty sure that our fire alarm wasn’t functioning (seemed to be taken apart and top half not replaced). Everything else seemed okay. Basic tv and bathroom. The beds had electric blankets which was cosy.
Booked 3 nights here, while not a short walk to town, it gave us reason to do a bit of exercise before morning tea, lunch, dinner. Handy to Echo Point and the RSL club. Housekeeping were good and checked in on us ro make sure weren't short of anything. I was a little bemused though, that there were no managers on site, and any communication with reception was via an intercom at the reception door. I don't know if this is still a little COVID paranoia or normal practice. The room was comfortable and clean, albeit a little dated
This is a basic motel but the five star review is because the manager is super helpful, the family room is spacious and clean and it is close to tourist sites with a bus stop at the door. You can walk into town too. A great little motel for a budget holiday.
We booked this motel because of the location. Too our surprise our room is lovely and has everything we need. Jason at reception was friendly and helpful. The bathroom has a walk in shower and good lighting over the basin. There is a microwave, fridge, tea and coffee and kettle. The bed is queen size and very comfortable . Extra pillows and blankets are in the cupboard. There is an iron and hair dryer. You are in walking distance of Echo Point with its spectacular view of the Three Sisters. There are plenty of walking trails to do from there. We walked to the town centre from the motel but it was a long walk there and back, not for the faint hearted. There is an information desk and kiosk at the point, a lovely cafe and restaurant close by. You have to pay for parking if you drive around but staying at the three sisters you can park out the front of your room and leave it there for free.…
