An peaceful stop over. The bed was comfy and breakfast was adequate. The guest house is well located and we were able to walk to nearby lookouts and into town. There was a big tea selection and coffee machine available. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Stayed for two nights. A lovely heritage building lovingly restored and a delightful place to stay. The main lounge was a relaxing place to enjoy homemade cake and coffee. The continental breakfast was just right. The DVD library is a lovely touch. Would recommend a stay here.

What a great find this place was when we googled Katoomba guest houses just the weekend before our wedding anniversary came around. We stayed in the lush English Rose Master Spa Suite for two nights being Fri & Sat night and made a romantic weekend of it. The room we found, is even better than in the photos featured on...

This was our third stay at Kurrara House but the first since the new owners Iain and Evelyn took ownership. They have refurbished the place beautifully and room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was just what we wanted with lots of choices of teas, pastries and bread. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit.

The guest house has a lot of character how ever the room we had was very small and no where to sit other than the bed. There was a few hangers on the back of the door but no where else to hang clothes. No towel racks in the bathroom. The lounge was lovely and a good choice of tea...

Loved the Rose suite, enjoyed yummy breakfasts and found staff to be very helpful. Great access to Hop On Explorer Bus. Very important to arrive during posted check in hours as they aren't staffed otherwise. Afternoon tea and cakes were a welcome treat and the selection of tea was remarkable.

We stayed in the Magnolia room which was clean spacious and comfortable. We liked the afternoon tea that was provided as well as the port. That was a Very nice touch to make it more cosy. Would like Ve to stay on the winter months as they had some great looking fireplaces that would be very enjoyable on a cold night....

Kurrara Historic Guest House (recently featured in a 'Travel Which' article on the Blue Mountains, only seen after we'd booked) is most unusual. Certainly historic - the entrance porch and reception have lots of artefacts. Our room, actually The English Rose suite, was off reception towards the back. The bedroom had a 4-poster bed (just a frill round the top...
