We arrived to a very warm welcome and continued to enjoy the wonderful hospitality offered by mein hosts, Iain and Evelyn, throughout our 3-day stay. This charming historic guest house is ideally situated within easy walking distance to the high street and scenic lookouts of Katoomba. All rooms were well appointed, clean and comfortable. Loved the overall ambience with antique... More

We loved our 5 nights stay in this lovely historic house. From the friendly staff to the lovely common rooms filled with all that you could expect from a B&B. Complimentary breakfast was filled with a wide range of options. We spent some lovely afternoons enjoying tea and cakes in the lovely leather couches in the common room. We had... More

We stayed at Kurrara for two nights and really enjoyed it. The place if full of antiques and the attention to detail is very impressive. The room was small but very comfortable and clean. Same with the bathroom. Breakfast was very nice. There were different types of cereal and bread, cheese, cherry tomatoes, eggs (soft or hard boiled), selection of... More

The room we stayed in was a bit on the small size, however for 1 night no great inconvenience. The rooms & hotel in general are very clean & comfortable. The morning complimentary continental breakfast is very good with a wide variety, including freshly cooked boiled eggs & a machine for fresh brewed coffee. We had european relatives stay with... What sets out a place is not the bells and whistles but rather how the basics are performed. Personal Service. Breakfast. Bedding. So some wise counsel on which walk to take..Wentworth Falls. Breakfast as if one were at home Bedding to not want to get up So having had a long trip looking back we really rated the atmosphere.

We loved our stay at this beautiful, historic home. We were welcomed by Iain, who made us feel like we were visiting family. Very comfortable and lovingly restored with authentic antiques. So many complimentary elements included numerous teas, freshly ground coffee, biscuits, cake, port to name just a few. Continental breakfast included.

I recently stayed 090216 at the Kurrara for one night so I could explore the Blue Mountains area a bit. I am so pleased I did as this b & b is excellent in every respect. My room was the English Rose with an extremely comfortable bed.The whole property is spotless and the house has many rooms and communal areas... More

This antique guesthouse has been thoroughly renovated with exquisite taste and thoughtfulness. Limited edition prints decorated the room. Toiletries are of the top quality. Breakfast was delicious and generous. From this place you can walk to trail along the Cliff Drive, Echo Park, or downtown.

Charming, historic house, good location, within walking distance of the main street, shops, restaurants and art galleries. Friendly, helpful owners. Comfortable room with spa and all necessary amenities. Good breakfast. Minor suggestions for improvement: freshly brewed coffee, not from a machine, Bible in room, (most hotels have one and Gideon provides them free), handrails in spa to prevent falls.

Ian and Evelyn were very friendly and helpful, not in our faces but available when we needed them. My partner and I booked the English Rose room and it was lovely with a spacious bathroom and hot tub. Breakfast was great, served at 8 am with delicious options to choose from, our favourite was the croissants (I'm assuming homemade). It... More
