This place is just gorgeous, the perfect getaway for a quiet cosy weekend away. Especially nice in the winter time so that you can take advantage of the central heating, the underfloor heating in the bathroom, and the cosy open fire. There are so many little touches to make your stay so very warm, welcoming and comfortable. We didn't want to leave. The beds were very comfortable, the fire place very cosy, the decanter of port and chocolates by the fireplace a very welcoming touch. The fridge was stocked with delicious bacon and eggs, there was champagne on ice awaiting our arrival, and a huge platter of nibbles, so large that we couldn't eat it all. Lorraine has thought of everything. We had arranged the in house massage, and what a treat that was, so very very relaxing and the fact they come to you was just another luxurious touch that added to what was already a relaxing weekend away. We accidently locked ourselves out and within minutes Lorraine had us back inside, like I say, she has thought of absolutely everything. I would sincerely recommend this place. You will see from all the wonderfully grateful and positive comments in the guest book that everyone simply falls in love with this place. I cant wait to go back.

We stayed at the Leura Rose Cottage in the Blue Mountains for the Queens Birthday weekend and were so very impressed with the thoughtful touches around the cottage. Upon arrival through the lead lighted front door, we were welcomed with Christmas music (it’s Yueltide in the mountains!) Central heating, soft lights and big fluffy robes and slippers, what a beginning, just like coming home! The cottage is very well appointed with gas open fireplaces in the lounge and main bathroom along with underfloor heating in the same bathroom, a beautiful kitchen with everything you need to cook up a storm if you feel the need. There was bacon and eggs, milk and bread supplied to get you started, tea and coffee, jams and butter. A lovely port and red wine were very well received and enjoyed! The beds were comfy, fitted with electric blankets and lovely doonas. The lounge room with open fire was so relaxing and homely, it was hard to leave but wonderful to return to. The cottage is close to the main hub of Leura and all there is to see in the mountains. We would highly recommend this beautiful cottage to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable place to stay in the Blue Mountains. We can’t wait to return !!
