The worst stay that I have ever had in Sydney. The room was dirty, smelly, shades were broken (allowing lights in), COCKROACHES not only in the room but also inside the bed. Also, the working hours are not as shown in the website, especially during holidays. On top of that, the room rate was even higher than some of the 4/5-star hotels.
I’m not sure who’s pictures you have used but this certainly does not reflect the room we had. We checked in late, so no staff were available to talk to about the issues with the room - these were mentioned the next morning (Sunday) and were not attended to until Monday afternoon (the day we checked out). The room had an awful smell, later we discovered the fridge had been leaking all over the carpet causing a damp smell and soaked floor. The bathroom door didn’t close, nor did the shutters for the baloney. The lighting in the bathroom and main bedroom flickered on and off (strobe light) so we couldn’t use them for 2 days. The room was not cleaned, it needed a good hoover and the windows were covered in handprints. Exposed wire above the microwave and the bedside lamp didn’t work. Honestly it was a disaster, there is a sign in the room that says it has been cleaned to Covid standard, did the cleaner not turn the lights on the clean? did they not notice the wet floor? the dirty windows? The location is great, there’s a nice hotel at the end of the road called Luminer - stay there instead.…
Did not get what I booked, arrived there to be told that I had been downgraded to a studio room because of a "medical emergency!" This had only one bed, no dishwasher or dryer and was cramped. As it was school holidays, there were no options to cancel and move. Was moved to another dilapidated room with a sofa bed and thr floor was a better and more comfortable option to sleep. There was no sofa to sit on. This was not serviced accommodation, occasionally a bath towel would vanish and be replaced with two bath mats etc. On reading reviews of this hotel, they have a history of down grading rooms when people arrive, even though they have been booked many months in advance....usually with some story about the local hospitals.
stayed in room 311 was a great room good facilities in the room staff experienced and extremely helpful Each unit gets allocated a car space Woolworths and coles within 5 min walk also very close to the racetrack and prince of wales hospital I will be back
Having booked 12 months previous to arrival date - was advised on morning of arrival that my booking (one bedroom apartment) had been down graded to a studio apartment and that a 'sofa' bed (turned out to be the seat of the sofa only!) was put into room. Two ladies one 81 and one 77 years old. Hence the 77 year old was virtually sleeping on the floor - not a mean feat at 77! Supposed to be 'serviced daily' .. room wasn't .. 'because of covid!' Boy are these places saving money on wages 'due to covid' !
My wife and I stayed at this hotel in a studio micro apartment on two separate occasions for a total of 12 nights. We looked at Booking.com, however decided to ring the hotel direct. I spoke to the Manager who offered a better price than Booking.com. The Manager and staff were very helpful and friendly during our stay. The room had a kettle, microwave, stove and fridge. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. There is parking on site which has to be pre-booked. The hotel has Coles and Woolworths nearby as well as restaurants and fast food outlets. The Prince of Wales hospital campus is a 10 minute walk. Buses run along Belmore Road and the light rail is a 6 minute walk. I would certainly stay there again and would book direct and not use Booking.com.
comfortable, convenient, reasonably priced, light rail to city nearby, great eateries walking distance away, allocated parking means no nasty surprises coming back to hotel late at night, will stay again
Firstly the positive points of our stay: -The hotel is in a good location close to public transport -Reception staff were friendly -The layout of the room was good with lots of storage for the size Unfortunately our stay was heavily tainted by a couple of issues with the room which were that the air conditioning was not working for our entire multiweek stay and even though we told staff multiple times from early in our stay that it was not working and we were told we were wrong or that it had been resolved when it definitely had not. Additionally the room needed a better clean, it was surface clean but the carpet was still dirty (walking around in socks it'll turn your socks dirty colour) and shower wasn't cleaned. The bathroom door was very hard to open as the rollers must not be hung properly.…
multiple rooms for a work collogues. Two of us found underwear that was left in our rooms. I was swapped to another room. But then another collogue found sleepwear under his pillow. Rang and left message with General Manager, not call back since.
Very neat clean and tidy accommodation with all the essentials for a self contained stay. Suitable for two with an outdoor balcony for fresh air. Central to a variety of shops and eateries for all. Public transport available on main street with direct to airport buses passing by. Would recommend as an affordable and comfortable place to stay.
