We stayed at this park as it was advertised as a ‘premier’ styleBig 4 park - completely underwhelming. Firstly, the pirate ship water park is great for a van park. But I think that’s where they get their huge ratings. Great for under 10s. Second, the wildlife is at your

Thank you for your feedback Charena, Im so glad you loved our Shipwreck Island Water park, yes we get a lot of great feedback from this, but also for all of our other fabulous facilities, cleanliness, great accommodation and friendly staff! Everyone loves the wildlife too - being surrounded by National Park it really is a haven for birds, kangaroos and the odd goanna. Yes, the weather has been very dry this year which does mean it is hard to keep the dust down and the popularity of our resort means at this time of year, with back to back bookings, it is a struggle to keep grass on some of the sites. We do have slab sites and are looking at putting in more astroturf to combat this problem. Our amenity blocks are cleaned 3 times a day in peak periods and thank you for letting us know if it needed attention in between these times - I'm sure the housekeeping team would have addressed it immediately. Sorry to hear you wont be staying with us again. Thanks again for your feedback. Kind regards, Lucy

Have visited alot of holiday parks and I have to give this one a 5 star. We stayed in a lagoon cabin which was very clean on arrival and in a nice quiet part of the park. The bed was the most comfortable I have had in cabin accommodation at holiday parks. Staff are very

Perfect review, thank you for your 5 star recommendation Russo! So glad you slept well and enjoyed the natural, national park setting and that the Kangaroos came to visit - they dont seem to be bothered even in busy times - they just love hanging out which is great for everyone to see! Great news that everyone loved our facilities, the undercover jumping pillow is as much as a hit as Shipwreck Island - great for rain or if there has been too much time in the Sun (certainly more of a case of the latter this Summer!) We are very spoilt with the beaches in and around South West Rocks - Trial Bay, the one closest to us, has to be one of the most stunning in NSW (I may be slightly biased tho!), but sounds like you agree! We look forward to welcoming you back and your children catching up with their friends again, or making new ones. Thanks again, Kind regards, Lucy

Lovely spot on the NSW coast to visit. This park has Beautiful large powered sites down the back, with lots of native fauna visiting. (Some of the sites closer to the pool were too small for us to fit our Jayco expands. Clean amenities, and awesome facilities that kept the kids

So glad you experienced friendly & helpful staff - we all aim to enhance our guests experience and so glad your kids were kept happy and busy all day in our awesome facilities. Certainly doesn't match the photos on their website. Gravel roads very dusty. Tight roads and campsite makes it hard to reverse in big van. Basic facilities that close at night.. Splash park suits a young family.

Sorry to hear your feedback theresao, as you are aware it has been very dry recently so it is hard to keep the dust down, we are looking at tarring more roads in the resort to hopefully negate this issue. We do have a lot of facilities for families with kids 12 and under, and we are always happy to help putting people on their sites (the maintenance team even have a bob cat to do that if neccessary when we are busy!). Thanks again, kind regards, Lucy

We stayed in the Spa Villa, which was great. The pool area is fantastic for kids and the activities that the park put on were good fun! Pedal Carts were fun. All staff were very friendly and happy to help. There is no park "shop" as such..which would have been better. Only a

Hi J0des444, you guys will love the Sunshine Tents - all the fun of camping but without the hassle! We hadnt had many mozzies as it had been so dry..we did get a bit of rain a few weeks ago so that may mean that, along with the rest of the mid north coast of Australia (;-)), there may be a few! The tents have flyscreens and some citronella based sprays will help! Thank you for your lovely comments Russel & Allan!

Hi Luke Thanks for your question. There is great fishing in South West Rocks - off the beach, boat or breakwall. We do back on to a Saltwater Lagoon where some people fish out of a canoe but Im not sure how successful they are!! There are so many things to do with Kids in the park that they will be fully entertained so your wife / partner may be happy enough for you to sneak off!! It is a 10 minute walk through to the beach or a 2 minute drive. Let me know if you need any further information! Thanks Lucy 02 6566 6142
