Stayed the night and found the proprietor very friendly and helpful with restaurant recommendations. The room was clean, well appointed with plenty of tea & coffee facilities, microwave. The bathroom feels new with lots of hot water and toiletries that were generous. Bed was firm but ok. It is an older style motor inn that has been modernised well.

Luckily I got a room right at the back of the complex but having said that, it was still very quiet when I got there at night. I actually arrived earlier in the afternoon, I had a wedding to attend at a local winery however Dennis & Soni allowed me to check in early and grab the key around midday (I didn't want to wake them after a big night out!).
Pay TV available, beds were comfy and shops/amenities not too far away.

We needed to spend 3 days in the Ulladulla area and chose Pigeon House Motor Inn because it is a convenient Central location. Just a short walk to the shops and town center and next door you can buy famous local pies which are very good. The units are clean and comfortable, quite considering this is near a main road. The owners are very friendly and pleasure to stay with.

A fresh lick of paint and some nice touches in the room doesn't hide the fact that this is a very basic motel from a bygone era. Yes, it has a pool (albeit very very small) and is close to town but you are not getting anywhere close to $300 per night of value. That is what most would call price gouging at its best and taking advantage of the limited choices over the New Year period of holiday. Wouldn't rerun at that price and would have to think there are better options that would probably come in at a better price level. Charging guests 8$ to use the washing machine also a money grab. Avoid the room we had which was adjacent to the top of the stairs. Passing foot traffic at 5.30 am made for an early wake up call.

When the booking was made by my sister in law they asked if we were attending the wedding, when she was told no we were coming in to attending the 90's night at a local venue she was presented with dissatisfaction about the reason for our booking.
Then when I checked in on the Saturday Afternoon I got a whole dressing down stating that their are other guests there for a wedding and there is a quiet curfew after 9.30pm to ensure I don't continue to party on when I get back from the venue.
I explained my intention was to come back and sleep the only reason we had booked a room was to be responsible as we had intended on having a few drinks. I was absolutely disgusted that we were judged like that if anything the guests attending the wedding were making more noise than us before we had left but they weren't judged as they were attending a wedding.
We ended up leaving and driving home after 9pm as we did not feel comfortable staying in this motel room after the attitude given to us on arrival.

Check in was easy and the owner was courtious and friendly. The room and bed were comfortable, clean and tidy, also well looked after (everything worked as it should). The location is convenient, right on the Princess Highway and a short walk to the main shopping centre and the Milton/ Ulladulla Ex Servos Club in the other direction. I'll definitely be staying there again on my next trip to Ulladulla.

We needed to visit Ulladulla and once again we stayed ta the Pigeon House Motel. As good as ever. Very friendly owners, our favorite room is quiet, very comfortable and convenient to walk up to the shops. We will always stay her on our visit

Ulladulla is a charming beachside town and is well worth a visit. Renovated, spotlessly clean rooms with nice, quiet split-system AC units are a feature of this property. Friendly hosts and easily accessed parking. Beautiful, landscaped pool area. Highly recommended.

This motel in Ulladulla is fantastic. Great location, walking distance to restaurants, Marlin hotel and down the road is Ulladulla Ex servos club. Staff are very friendly, rooms are clean and tidy. There is a pool to use in summertime. Highly recommend this little motel.
