The Abbey was built to house the Sisters of Mercy in 1891 as a convent and has enjoyed a great history since. It has been beautifully restored by Mark & Sonia over the past 5 years to be a country manor affording fantastic luxury accommodation and function facilities with period accommodation suites, all modern conveniences. The building is large and...

We attend our first Murder Mystery this weekend at the Abbey of the Roses. It was absolutely fabulous - very well organised and such good fun. The setting for the event was splendid. We would recommend it - a must for a bucket list!!

Sorry just reviewed the B&B in the food section. Beautifully appointed rooms. Little quaint that your private bathroom is down the hall. Disappointed when I enquired if I could get an early breakfast as I need to leave by 7.30 to be told "Well you know breakfast is complimentary so just let us know if you don't need it". ???...

Hello Merlouis, It sounds like you enjoyed your stay but we lost a couple of points because we couldn't do an early breakfast which do apologise for upsetting you so much. We do have on all booking sites and room outlines that we do offer a 'complimentary breakfast at 8.30 if required' so guest know the time it is on...

We spent a weekend in Warwick staying at the Abbey of the Roses. This historic building is very well appointed with lovely accommodation and facilities. A full English breakfast was provided, the furniture and fittings are appropriate and to a high standard, the building is well-maintained and the grounds are extensive and well kept. Overall, we really enjoyed the Abbey...

First impressions are everything and credit to Sonia who makes you feel truly welcome from the moment you arrive until you leave. The building itself is amazing and just exploring the many rooms adds to the charm of staying at Abbey of the Roses. A great getaway and we'll definitely be back with friends.

Our group of 11 stayed to experience the Abbey's Christmas in July package, a trend we have enjoyed for several years now at other venues. Mark, Sonia and Basil are so incredibly welcoming, we felt like we were among the first guests they had ever welcomed yet they have been doing this for a few years now. Thankfully, they both...

Loved the whole Devonshire tea experience from the moment we approached the beautiful sandstone building's front entrance. Mark's passion for history and collectables is evident and as we toured from room to room he brought it to life with stories and wit. Even though we were in a big group there I didn't feel rushed. The building is beautiful. Brilliant...

We stayed in Room 1 at the Abbey on the last Friday night in June. We enjoyed a wonderfully friendly welcome from the owners Mark and Sonia. Our room was Amazing (note the capital letter!) with huge stained glass windows in a vaulted ceiling. Everywhere I looked there were photo opportunities within the house and without. Breakfast was delicious too....

Loved the Abbey. Great for Catholic nostalgics and history buffs to visit - especially if you ever boarded in a convent. The building has been beautifully restored and contains many interesting prints and artefacts. New bathrooms (although you walk across a hallway to access your bathroom) are a modern blessing. The grounds are a delight and a bracing walk to...
