Such a fantastic place to stay. Beautiful location, and hosts went out of there way to make us feel welcome (even to the point that they made a delicious apple/pear cake for our arrival!). We stayed there as a family weekend (18 in total), so rented most of the cabins, plus the beach house. Some of the older cabins were...

My wife and I stayed here two nights and were very pleased. Just off the cottage there was a great beach where you could take long walks and relax. We love the sound of the waves crashing in. Everything about the cottage was just perfect and we enjoyed it. We learned something special and that was that Errol Flynn came...

A very nice find! And a real treat to be staying in such a nice cottage, well appointed, every comfort of home, every thing has been thought of, and nothing has been spared! Even supplied local wine and an oyster knife! What a treat.

Second stay and never fails to tick all the boxes. We were privileged to stay in their brand-new Hanalei Cottage. Just a perfect setting and gorgeous décor. Everything you could need and more. So, tranquil and rejuvenating. Tony and Kyle, you have outdone yourselves again. Thank you, for an amazing break away. Certainly, what the Dr ordered.

We spent 2 nights at the Sandpiper Ocean Cottages. The only noise we heard was the wind and the sea, along with the birds. Such a beautiful spot. The cottage was well equipped with cooker, BBQ, washer/dryer, tv, iron and hair dryer. Kyle was very helpful and informative on our arrival. The beach with its white sand was beautiful. The...

Accomodation and facilities excellent. Close to white sanded beach a dilight to walk along. Not far from Coles Bay. The units are 8 kms from the main Bicheno township. No problem at all. Units arre surrounded by gardens that gives you privacy. A very restful stay.

This is the place to get away from it all. Private cabins right near the beach. Well positioned for day trips around the area to places like Freycinet National Park. Owners were supper friendly and helpful. Would stay there again.

We stayed in the beach house with some friends for 2 nights; I could have stayed for years. The house, which is at the bottom of its own driveway, nestled behind some vines, has everything you need for a self contained holiday in a truly idyllic spot. Just stroll 30 seconds from the beach along your own private pathway and...

We drove from Launceston to Hobart primarily staying in self-catering accommodations . The Sandpiper Ocean Cottages turned out to be one of the best. The cottages are close to the highway, however there is minimal road noise A short walk from our cottage was a large private beach, ideal for shell collecting and I'm sure latter in the year great...

We stayed in the beach house right on the beach. Fully equipped kitchen & fire place. Was very clean. So private. Not modern but just so cosy. You need a car as it is about 6km out of town. We really enjoyed our stay here. Thanks. Mary Limbach

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Sandpiper Ocean Cottages are perfectly located just north of Bicheno on the East Coast of Tasmania. Set on 4 acres of natural coastal gardens, each cottage is private and spacious. A short stroll through the dunes and you can walk barefoot for miles on pristine white sand, fish from the beach or swim safely. The only sounds you'll hear are the waves, the birds and the squeak of the sand as you walk. The three 2 bedroom cottages sleep 5 people comfortably and have full laundry and kitchen facilities. They are spacious and modern inside, with large sunny verandas. A cosy log fire and the sounds of the sea make for restful nights. Our new 1 bedroom cottage, Ocean View, is just next to Sandpiper Cottage and is also fully self contained. This one is just for couples - with a king bed, all the mod cons and a view of the ocean. For those wanting a bit more space & privacy, we also manage the property adjoining Sandpiper. The Beach House. A stunning 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house with beautiful ocean views on 40 acres with its own beach access. It sleeps up to 8 people. We’re close to the Bicheno Golf Club and Douglas Apsley National Park and half an hour away from Freycinet National Park and the iconic Wineglass Bay. The Bay of Fires is only an hour to the north.
