We stayed here for two nights over the Christmas period. The outlook and position of the motel (calling it a resort I think is being generous) is lovely, with amazing views and of course the darling little penguins are a must see. The beds were extremely comfortable and the bed linen clean. We had good towels, although they were removed...

This well appointed and spacious villa was a lovely place to stay for the night. In fact wish we had stayed two nights. The bed was so comfortable best night sleep I had our whole trip! Bicheno is very much a coastal holiday town to relax in. This resort offers penguin viewings on site and for free. We didn't make...

The location was great...the bed was extremely comfortable...the fairy penguins in their natural environment were sooooooo awesome. The down side was...the room needed a thorough clean...the sofa bed needed clean sheets...one of the bathroom towels was stained and the freezer section of the fridge had not been cleaned for some time and was unusable.

We stayed there one night. This hotel has an exclusive penguin view terrace. We saw about 20 something penguins that night which lasted for an hour. Good bed and beddings but the place overall needs general cleaning. The sliding door is a bit rusty and there's spiderweb on the windows. The continental breakfast is poor, coffee is in sachet, freshly...

One teaspoon and 2 mugs both chipped, no dishcloth, dirty toaster, 3 kitchen chairs for a unit that sleeps 5 is not good enough, beds were comfortable and linen clean. A coat of paint after a good clean of cobwebs would do wonders. Upgrade of bathroom facilities is required to bring these units up to required standard.

We stayed for one night. I feel that the price doesn't reflect the accomodation. This accomodation is not resort style. The bedding was great and probably the best feature of the rooms. The room needed a good clean, cob webs, bug, plates in the cupboard and glasses were dirty. Glass sliding door was dirty with hand prints. Cleaners need to...

We stayed for one night on Christmas Eve and had a very enjoyable stay. The bed was the most comfortable we'd ever slept in, the managers were extremely friendly and the staff were great. When we told them the blowdryer wasn't working she assured us it would be fixed. The fairy penguins added to the experience and the fish served...

We were a bit apprehensive after reading the negative reviews here, but our worries turned out to be unfounded. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the resident bunny Snowy grazing on the lawn, the friendly reception, and an awesome view of the sea. We stayed in a villa - while basic, it was clean and we didn't find any filth...

We paid the equivalent of a Sydney 5 star hotel and received what I felt was a 2 star service. This is defined as a resort but fell far short of that definition. The room was defined as a 'honeymoon suite' but seemed no different to the others. Carpet was old and dirty. . Stains everywhere which were a testament...

The resort is under new management and the new owner is doing quite alot to refurbish the place. The owner's family is very friendly, and the daughter was very keen and eager to help. The complimentary penguine watching was as good as it gets in the area, but the birds can be a bit noisy through out the night.
