Sarah and Mike are wonderful hosts. Their property is beautiful, with amazing views of the ocean, a nice breeze..perfect to relax and enjoy the pure Tasmanian air. Sarah welcomed me and told me everything there is to do around. Bonus for me, she upgraded me to the whale view room at no charge :). To top, everything off, you will be... More

The view is fantastic and the bed was very comfortable. We wanted self contained so we could cook as eateries in the area are limited. For some reason we were "upgraded" to the 2 bedroom house which is very dated. We couldn't use the kitchen as the oven was dirty and there was no microwave. No face washer in the... More

'for some reason you were upgraded', is this a criticism? There is a microwave in the kitchen. It is full kitchen with everything you would expect in a domestic house. The mobile reception in Bicheno is a bit ropy...hardly the businesses fault. I appreciate the comments all be it don't agree with most of them. The Managers are extremely welcoming... More

Although quite dated, it was a great place. Wish the fire was working, would have made it very cosy. Huge space, tall ceilings and amazing vistas. Great waking up to the view of the beautiful beach. Great location. Imagine that in the middle of tourist season, this place would be nicely placed slightly out of the centre of town.

Despite the steep drive up the slope this place is really worth it! The rooms were clean and comfortable and the views were spectacular. We had a problem with some tickets for the Tasmanian Devil experience and the very helpful and friendly owners called up and sorted it out for us. Would certainly stay here again.

My parents and I stay in the two bedrooms apartment for two nights. The apartment is very nice present, very big, good size for family! The view, is unbeatable! We see the beautiful sunrise in the morning, also got a chance to see wallabies on the drive way! The owner, Michael, is a very nice person. Give us tips about... More

Unfortunate double booking not their fault and made up for it with a nice breakfast to make up for the smaller room. Decent people no doubt about that. But not only was it small it was a little ridiculous even the shower was almost hard to fit in so don't try if you are over 90kg and under 175cm or... More

Best description of this place would be a one bedroom self catering unit. Although we only stayed for one night, it would be great for an extended visit. Very comfortable double bed and a good shower room with washing machine if needed. The decor is a little dated however this is reflected in the excellent value for money tariff. There... More

We stayed in Unit 3 for 2 nights, and were impressed with the size of the unit, with separate bathroom and laundry. There may be more modern places to stay in Bicheno, but none with a better view, and stunning in dawn light. Kitchen facilities fair, showing some wear and tear, but good enough to cook up a feed of... More

Views from this place are unbelievable: we had the 2 bedroom unit and sitting on the deck enjoying a cup of tea and a wine overlooking the Bay was bliss: we watched whales in the bay and walked down to the private and secluded beach to view penguins: the place was relaxing and we enjoyed our two days here: will...
