We started our Tasmanian trip in Deloraine, staying at the Bluestone Grain store. The location was central to the western tiers, and Maracoopa caves and also not far from C radle mountain. The hosts were extremely generous with their delicious breakfasts. There was also nespresso coffee, homemade cookies and fruit on offer. We loved our stay here and rate it...

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful old B&B which has been restored with attention to detail yet maintaining character. Helen and Ron were welcoming and friendly. The Breakfast was excellent including locally sourced food and home grown and cooked condiments. Ron's coffee was the icing on the cake! HIGHLY recommended .

Ron & Helen Tweedale have done an amazing and impeccable renovation job on this beautifully old yet contemporary B&B in Deloraine. Warm & welcoming hosts, sumptuously comfy bed, all the mod cons, even a media room! Yummy brekky in the morning ... Couldn't do better than this one!!

Although we only spent one night at Bluestone Grain Store we had a lovely lovely and very comfortable stay. The king bedroom was massive, newly renovated, very clean and with nice toiletries available! Not to mention, Anzac cookies freshly baked by the host made it a nicer than expected afternoon tea. Highly recommended!

“Choices of rooms include Twin King Singles, Queen Size and King Size, plus a single bed or cot can be made available where required. All rooms are spacious and have nice garden views. The Bluestone Grain Store is located in a quiet street and I would be surprised if guests were troubled by outside noise.”
