Lovely well appointed two storey tree house with all you need for a few days away. Set in the bushland with lots of beautiful trees and wildlife just outside your window. Only a few minutes drive downhill to Lorne but in a nice position for privacy and tranquility but be warned the cockatoos will wake you up early with their...

This property is so unique and a beautiful place for couples who want to stay somewhere that is beautiful, comfortable, romantic and in touch with its physical surroundings. The owners , Annie and Ian, are wonderful hosts but at the same time ensure that your privacy is honoured. Annie drove us to the start of a hike one day so...

This little house is a fantastic design, perched on the side of a hill. We probably didn't get to experience it as it was intended as we arrived late on our road trip along the Great Ocean Rd. However, we still enjoyed it and our hosts graciously granted us a late checkout. The position is fantastic and the house has...

We stayed one night in this very nice duplex apartment. This little house is located in surrounded by trees. One floor is for the bed room and one floor for the living room (with TV and DVD) and the kitchen. We spent the evening looking at the trees through the large windows and listening to the birds outside. The bedroom...

This is the most gorgeous self contained apartment you could wish to stay in. It has everything you could wish for in the way of ammenities. A wonderful outlook, set amongst the trees with a dawn chorus of birdsong to wake you up. The atmosphere is so peaceful and there is plenty of space so you don't feel like you...

We've just stayed at The Chapel, and it was beautiful stay all round. The place itself is very well designed, using the steep slope towards the bush area with lots of natural light coming in through the large bay windows. The facilities within The Chapel itself leave very little to be desired, with pretty much everything we would need already...

Loved our stay at the chapel. Beautiful energy throughout. The daybed was a highlight watching the koalas in the trees. We would love to return to the special couples hideaway. The only downfall was that the delivery man couldn't find it. I'd suggest others to pack an easy dinner to throw in the oven because you probably won't feel like...

My wife and I have been to The Chapel twice now. It is a wonderful building overlooking a large valley of eucalypt trees. If you are lucky you will see a koala or two. You will definitely see many birds of different types, especially cockatoos. The chapel is two-storey and there is plenty of stair climbing to do to get...

The Chapel is undoubtedly a very special place to stay, surrounded by the bush and comfortably and attractively fitted out. The breakfast supplies were minimal, however. We bought our own fruit, muesli and yoghurt to supplement it. And normally with a B&B the host makes some effort to welcome guests and show an interest in their well-being. Here when we...

The Chapel was the perfect place to stay for my anniversary with my partner. At first my partner was a bit weiry with no window coverings but it was brilliant waking up to the birds and not a person in sight! Beautiful day bed looking out to the bush, quality provisions provided, privacy and just overall a great place to...
