A first time stay over the long weekend in apartment no 5. We were a little wary after reading a couple of negative reviews about the apartments but have to say our little family of 4 were completely surprised. This apartment was fitted out with everything you could need, the very very large comfortable couch, 2 queen beds & deep... More

I was worried after reading some negatives reviews, however pleasantly surprised. Stayed in apartment 6: Bathroom, kitchen, seperate bedroom with extras in the large living area and balcony with fantastic view. While it's a great spot and super cosy for a couple I wasn't very happy with the cleanliness of the bathroom. Soap scum and grime everywhere, caked on the... More

We chose this apartment as it is dog friendly; they let you have your dog in the apartment, but there's no enclosed back yard. It also had a 4 star rating on wotif - but I feel this is inaccurate. Pros: walking access off the main street of lorne. Short walk only to beach. Dogs can stay. Self contained. Cons:... More

Although a large apartment, we found it a very spartan apartment with the very minimal furniture. When I looked for a laundry I couldn't find one. We then phoned the agent who said that there was no laundry and that they did not advertise that it had a laundry. I assumed that all apartments would have a laundry. When asked... More

Arrived today at Lorne apartment. 40 degrees and no cooling. Sure you can leave the doors and windows open if you want every bug in the area to come in and enjoy your company. So the decision needs to be made. Extreme uncomfortable heat or bugs. They did invent fly wire screens some 60 years ago. Missed those details on... More

My partner and I stayed at Phoenix apartments with our puppy for the weekend. The location is fantastic! Right on the beach in the middle of everything Lorne has to offer. When we were looking for somewhere to go with our puppy we found that a lot of pet friendly accommodation in the area within our price range was quite... More
