My wife, daughter and 3 grandchildren recently - Jan 2019 - stayed at Wyndham Torquay for 2 nights. We were fortunate enough to be allocated the penthouse property and every aspect of our stay was outstanding! The hotel personnel, room accommodation and facilities were just

Was sucked in to do an owner update that I didn't need in return for resort credits to try out the reopened bar. Big mistake. The food was awful and overpriced. I don't mind paying over the odds for pizza and snacks because of the convenience but I expect to get my money's

We stayed in one of the apartments and our friends stayed in the apartment next door. Very comfortable one bedroom apartment with kitchen and cooking facilities. Easy walk to the beach and the apartments overlooked the pool. Easy walk into the town or a short car ride. Would

The resort is in a great location being opposite the beach and walking distance to the main shopping strip. Need to know that if your room is on the pool side it can get very noisy at night due to people in the pool and spa until the late hours. Also smoking needs to be banned

Sorry I didn't reply earlier. We are busy planning our trip to South America. You can get a train to Geelong then a bus to Torquay . There are tours from Melbourne and can be arranged from Torquay or Geelong . The weather in September is Spring 10-25 degrees. Some rain. Great surf at Torquay and Bells beach. Regards Lyn

I usually book via Wyndham six months in advance as there are more selection on offer. But for 2 nights 3 moths is fine as there are limited rooms available. I have been going there every year and it has been a pleasant stay.
