If you enjoy surfing, fantastic food and warm hospitality, then El Coco Loco is for you. The owners and staff do a wonderful job of making you feel right at home. The location is off the beaten path but it is the perfect location to completely disconnect from your everyday life. The yoga studio has amazing views of the grounds...

I've stayed here twice and highly recommend it to adventurous folks looking for an off-the-beaten-path stay. The surfing is great a 10-minute walk away, with a swimming beach in front of the property. Whatever activities you decide to do, you are going to be hungry and the food is delicious, as well as healthy and features some local dishes, too....

In mid-November, a group of 15 friends from across the world made the treck to Nicaragua for a week long stint at El Coco Loco. We had heard so many great things about the resort but all the compliments and hype we heard did not do this utopia justice. From the moment we landed in Managua, to the moment we...

El Coco Loco is off the beaten path but worth it. The people who live there make sure you are taken care of. The huts have ceiling fans and individual fans. The shower is enclosed and private. The accommodations are very comfortable. The beach is just a stones throw and you can hear the waves at night. The path is...

Everything was ok. It just depends on your quality of mind and what you are expecting. I wasn't expecting to be fully into nature and living in a hut with no ac so you get what you get. Once I was there I couldn't change anything.I just wish I fully knew what I was getting into. I expected to be...

I did my YTT 200 hour here with Radiant Life Yoga School. It was one of the greatest experiences I've had, travelling or otherwise. The combination of beautiful surroundings, amazing accommodation and excellent food made it such an amazing time for me. But mostly it was the people who run and work here. We were constantly supported during the training...

I was at El Coco Loco in November 2015 for the Eat, Play, Love Retreat and I absolutely loved it. EVERYONE involved with this place plays a part in it's magic. The food was absolutely to die for, the yoga was amaze-balls and the beach and accommodations were truly one of a kind. I only wish I had made El...

El Coco Loco is an immaculately kept eco-lodge next to virgin Pacific beach. It's off the beaten path and a true retreat away from hordes of tourists and the stresses of city life. I hosted our Elevate Retreat here and our entire group of 21 people were thrilled. Waking up with the rooster crowing, listening to the waves crash on...

I stayed at El Coco Loco for a surf and yoga retreat and the facilities, cabanas, owners, staff and food were all amazing. There's a very family/community vibe, so you can hang out in the common area and chat or find a hammock and chill. It's rustic chic (compost toilets!), so if you're okay with that, this is a little...

El Coco Loco is special because it's relaxing, charming and comfortable while also being located off the beaten path in such an un-touristy location. It really feels authentic and real, not a place where you're herded-in to do a retreat and then leave. The owners are incredibly cool and you feel right at home. They go the extra mile to...
