We had a wonderful stay. We spent a night here on our travels down the coast of Western Australia and it felt like a home away from home. The staff were friendly and the lodging spacious and clean. The gardens surrounding the resort were absolutely stunning also, which added to the atmosphere of the resort.

Stopped here on a a whim while looking for accomodation for one night. The owners and receptionist couldnt have been more helpful. We were given a lovely 2 storey apartment with everything you could possibly want, including washing machine, tumble dryer and a big gas cooker, none of which we used.It is right on middleton beach, and very handy for a local... we arrived at this resort or should i say block of units when it was pouring down in albany. Gentleman at reception took his own sweet time to even acknowledge us and continued on his phone for some time before he gave us keys. Room was stinking of an odd smell but we were too tired to complain about it.... More

We always appreciate positive feed-back and take it seriously, whether it makes pleasant reading or not. Maybe the first comment I would make is that my usual modes-operandi when a guest arrives and I am on the phone is to raise my hand to acknowledge anyone who walks in and say, won't be a moment. My second comments is that,... More

Stayed here for just one night in a two bedroom villa. The double bed is on a mezzanine floor and the second room with single beds is in a bed room next door. The beds are very comfy and have electric blankets!!! Both bedrooms are upstairs. The rooms are spacious with a kitchen, reverse cycle air con and are very... More

Thanks for your feedback. We are so fortunate to be so close to Bay Merchants across the road as well as Valentine's on the crescent, The Rat's Bar (taappas) and just down at the beach, Three Anchors. The environment is simply peaceful. Our guests enjoy the close proximity to the beautiful Middleton beach and the Ellen Cove Boardwalk. Lost of... More

I stayed here for 4 nights on business. The apartment was large and very spacious. It was a 2 bedroom with lounge area and kitchen down stairs and bedrooms and bathroom upstairs. I wish I was here with my wife and 2 kids as it would be the perfect place to stay. A short walk to both the beach and... More

Stayed here for a week - friendly, efficient check-in and out, accommodating. Two bed-roomed unit was spotlessly clean, well-equipped and quiet. Woken by dawn chorus - wonderful. Walking distance to Middleton Beach. Secure parking. Highly recommended.

It's been a while, getting around to commenting. Thanks Daniel! We always appreciate the sounds of bird-life in the early morning ... the Kookaburra's are often our alarm clock. Middleton beach and the boardwalk only 250 metres away and when there is a bit of a swell in the ocean, the sound of waves is also enjoyable. More

We enjoyed our 2-night stay - large apartment, comfortable bed, good sized kitchen, beautiful gardens, and GREAT LOCATION - a few minutes to the beautiful Middleton Beach. Good value for money. Our hosts were very helpful and patient with so many questions from out-of-country visitors. Recommend highly.

Sorry James, it's been a while acknowledging your kind words. A flavour of Europe in the architecture was the intention of the original owners and they did a good job planning the gardens. We just love just keeping the gardens looking good and above all we love chatting to Guests who can spare the time to chat. More

This place is beautiful from the outside, the gardens are lovely. However the decor inside the rooms is very dated (even for the theme they are trying to create). We stayed in a two bedroom unit. The service at reception was not rude but came across more as disinterested. I asked a couple of questions about local attractions and didn't... More

We appreciate this feed-back and although not commented on at the time, it has been noted. We feel attitudes are important and we enjoy an interaction with guests while respecting their privacy. The intention of the original owners was to create a European atmosphere with the architecture and courtyard. Also the way they layed out the gardens was great. They... More

Great place to stay. Lovely location near the beach & cafes. It has a well equipped kitchen, the apartment was clean & very comfortable. Glass sliding door opens onto lovely gardens. I was concerned that for someone older there was no hand rail up the stairs. (The apartment is on 2 levels- bedrooms & bathroom upstairs). Otherwise would highly recommend.

Thank You Lyn. Glad you enjoyed your stay. It was a concern with the lack of hand rails but that has not been remedied. All apartments have handrails up the stairs now. :) More

We stayed at Balneaire unexpectedly for one night. What a great decision. The apartments are very comfortable, the beds great. We had such a great nights sleep. Great location 2 minutes walk from the beach and nice cafes very close. We had breakfast at three anchors which is also highly recommend.

Thanks, glad you had a good night's rest and as you mentioned, great cafes close by and also the beach and boardwalk are an amazing attraction. Nestled at the base of Mt Adelaide, it is quiet and tranquil. More
